@fandompulse I hate it because nothing in it is Star Trek except for an ill fitting skin suit.
There is not a single element of writing, storytelling, world building, characterization, technology, or moral framework that has anything to do with Star Trek.

Starfleet Academy star Kerrice Brooks urges fans not to hate the show because of DEI:
“If it’s not nice, like, let’s just talk about it. Don’t just say, like, I hate it because it’s DEI. Tell me you hate it because of something else, and then we can have a conversation.”
Is DEI a valid reason to hate Starfleet Academy?

@disparutoo I feel like if they HAD to race swap Snape, the least they could have done is used Idris Elba. He would have been a solid choice...not whatever no-name they picked. Yes, yes...other story problems, but still an actor with talent.
