To preserve food, the Apache dry meat into strips under the sun and sometimes smoke it, creating long-lasting reserves. They also prepare ceremonial beverages such as Tesguino (fermented corn) and Sotol (from the eponymous plant, fermented or distilled). Their diet reflects a profound understanding of the environment, showcasing their ability to adapt to harsh conditions through resource utilization and effective conservation techniques.
