Amalia Ozer heads the racist South Tel Aviv organization Otef Tahana Merkazit, even though she does not actually live in the area. The name translates to "Central Station Envelope", implying that the Jewish residents of the area around TLV's Central Station are threatened by the so-called "infiltrators" (code name for any non-Jewish blacks and sometimes all non-Jews) in the same way that the Israeli Gaza Envelope residents are threatened by the Palestinian "terrorists". According to documents obtained by Al Jazeera—reportedly presented to Hamas by Trump’s “Board of Peace” High Representative for Gaza Nikolay Mladenov—the Gaza disarmament plan outlines a phased political and security process built on a strict “step-for-step” framework, tying reconstruction and governance in Gaza directly to disarmament. It conditions the entry of aid and rebuilding materials on areas being verified as weapon-free, under a model of “one authority, one law, and one weapon.” A transitional national committee would gradually assume administrative and security responsibilities, while Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups would be required early on to catalog their weapons under international supervision and on-the-ground verification mechanisms. Bear with me for a personal story that sheds light on this 'antisemitic hate crime' issue. Last year I was invited to deliver a lecture on state violence to a conference. I used Gaza as the main example. A Jewish woman confonted me in the refreshments queue. She accused me of selecting an inappropriate example. I replied that I'm against Netanyahu's regime and I hope you are too. She said nothing and returned to her seat. That was it. Nothing more. The following morning, the conference organiser rang to inform me that I had been reported to the regional police service as the perpetrator of an antisemitic hate crime. NFA, of course, but the incident has still been registered and the university informed. So it's on the statistics. How often is this happening? Genuine question, because I really don't know.
