Thank God that in my mid-50s I moved to the left. I see ageing journalists become so conservative; so angry and bitter at changing times and different people. I feel genuinely sorry for them. Rejoice in a better world, embrace the delight of the new.

Once you get past the biting thing you begin to realize just how watered down this vanilla paddycake league has become, there are no rivalries, hating an opponent so badly you'd bite them is needed more not less. The fake scrums after a whistle are embarrassing.
