Bro we gotta be like 20th at worst man come on. Defense is literally completely different… maybe that’s part of it. But the 4th worst defense in the league? Don’t believe it.
We’ll see.

Ranking all 32 teams on the defensive side of the ball 👀 Does your squad need to go up or down? (via @IDPGodfather)

@Nayglizzy1 He a regular season merchant dude and he’s been my favorite player and really only reason I keep up with the NBA. Just complains way too much now, prolly should’ve learned how to beat them doubles in open runs
English

Nahhh Kentucky missed out on another player?😭😭😭

NEWS: Dayton transfer guard De’Shayne Montgomery has committed to Louisville, he told @On3. The 6-4 junior averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game this season. Previous stops at Georgia and Mount St. Mary’s. on3.com/college/louisv…
English

@Nayglizzy1 You right nothing gets scary hours until you get dubbed on home court but just seems like Houston don’t even wanna play ball together
English

@griffinappleman He better go back to houston and come krazy at home series far from ova
Playoffs dont get serious untill someone win on opponent court
But that shit look ass
English

@Nayglizzy1 “Omg the double coming” 😭😭😭 panicking in the playoffs😭😭😭 legacy will hurt after this though cause it’ll be hard to say anything but “No Steph does he even have rings?”
English

@griffinappleman He was throwing scaries everytime
“Omg the double coming” and throw some bs it shoulda been 13 TO he got saved on some
English

@_tramondoe @Nayglizzy1 Tried to sign Trey, didn’t work. Multiple times, couldn’t figure it out. Y’all not finna convince me this is a bad move. When these defensive additions get us back to the playoffs and making noise we’ll see what the narrative is then
English

@griffinappleman @Nayglizzy1 Why not sign Trey and keep the 10th
English

@_tramondoe @Nayglizzy1 Burrow is frustrated and we haven’t drafted well since he arrived. Defense was ASS, everyone knows it, we trade for one of the best & MOST DOUBLE TEAMED IDL the last 5 years & mfs gone say “I’d never give up that pick.” ???
English

@_tramondoe @Nayglizzy1 Just signed a 1 year extension, how many times have the Bengals on a “young good rookie?”
Like please stop this weird narrative because it’s the Bengals? We’ve hit on 4 1st round picks since like 2004 man what are we still talking about??? Finally make a move and it’s not good?
English

@griffinappleman @Nayglizzy1 Dex going to be a FA in 2 years vs locking a young good rookie for 4 years.
English

@Nayglizzy1 Do you also not think those defensive studs are all not going top 10? Downs will, Styles should, and so should DE from Miami. Who does that leave us with? Fuck that #10 pick we’ve got more with round 2 down than any 1st round pick.
English

@griffinappleman Dexter one of my favs dt but to give up et pick when he coming off his worst szn on a great dline😵 but yall front office said fuck it we cant hit so i get it

some thoughts on Lawrence to Cincy...
Dexter Lawrence is a 28-year old stud
he spent most of his career playing vs elite interior OLs of the Eagles & Cowboys
he's been double-teamed at the highest rate in the NFL
he's now playing in the AFC North
Ravens lost their C
Steelers might start a 42-yr old QB
Browns have Deshaun or Shedeur
Lawrence should FEAST
the Giants were TERRIBLE when he wasn't on the field
last year, even in a "down" year for Lawrence:
Giants defense with...
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (8.4)
#31 sack rate (4.1%)
#27 EPA/pass (+0.13)
#26 pass success (47%)
#23 pressure rate (32%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#7 pass success (40%)
#8 YPA (6.6)
#9 sack rate (7.7%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.09)
#22 pressure rate (33%)
that was a "down" year for Dexter
the team was top-10 vs the pass when he was out there
bottom-10 when he wasn't
want a larger sample?
last 3 years:
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (7.7)
#31 pressure rate (29%)
#31 pass success (48%)
#30 EPA/pass (+0.14)
#30 sack rate (5.5%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#8 pass success (42%)
#8 sack rate (7.4%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.02)
#13 YPA (7.0)
#15 pressure rate (36%)
and again, the context is VITAL:
he was obviously the #1 best player on the Giants defense
every team knew it
they double teamed him at the #1 highest rate and he STILL made this big of a difference
and that was despite playing some of the NFL's top offensive lines in the NFC East as it relates tot he Eagles and Cowboys for YEARS
oh, and then there's this pretty ridiculous nugget:
