Remember when Disney's live-action Snow White flopped and everybody unfairly blamed star Rachel Zegler? Well, the actor has some thoughts on the matter. #Echobox=1773355056" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">slashfilm.com/2121285/rachel…

The U.S.A. didn’t play good enough to win this game. They won, but the best team on the ice was clearly Canada. I’ve never seen Team Canada play a better game.

@MattWalshBlog Best team doesn't always win. US Team was carried hard by their Goalie but the team as a whole was far from being the better team. You can hate Canada for their politics but don't make a hockey game political, that is incredibly stupid.

I’ve never watched an entire hockey game in my life but I had to watch this morning and see the USA vanquish the most evil and depraved country on Earth. What a game. God bless America.

I do not drive anymore. Tesla Self-Driving does over 99% of my driving, and the only disengaging I do is for small nav issues and parking preferences (which I assume will get resolved in 14.3). How is the world not freaking out about FSD? I cannot believe how good it has gotten, yet I still don’t hear anyone outside of “our bubble” talking about it.

I see people citing "Why did you have real bullets" from Renee Good's partner as proof of living in a make-believe world. Um, rubber bullets are VERY widely used in protest situations (& aren't harmless). So stop ghoulishly using this to mock people who've suffered a tragedy.

@JacksonTDawes Huh? I've never denied that it was a protest situation. People in the United States have the right to protest and, yes, mouth off to agents of the state without being shot. If they're obstructing, they can expect to be arrested. Not beaten or shot.

The percentage of "the left" that cheered on or excused Charlie Kirk's murder is probably far smaller than the percentage of the right gloating over the death of Renee Good.
Lauren Chen@TheLaurenChen

I've come to realize the left doesn't actually oppose crime or violence on principle. They only oppose it when it hurts their own agenda or allies. Otherwise, they actually cheer it on when it's inflicted upon their enemies, or just ignore it when it can't be exploited. For example, killing is good when it's a health insurance CEO or Charlie Kirk. But it's bad if it's Renee Good or George Floyd (for the purpose of this argument, we will assume, as leftists do, that George Floyd was actually killed and did not OD). And killing doesn't register at all when it's someone like Iryna Zarutska being murdered by a black man. The same goes with violence and crime as a whole. Violence against ICE is good. However, violence against ICE protestors is bad. And violence between black gangs is simply unimportant. Furthermore, stealing from Walmarts and other big chains is good, but "stealing" from indigenous people is bad. Somalis stealing from taxpayers, on the other hand, should just not be discussed at all. Unlike most people, the leftist views violence and crime as morally neutral tools, with acceptability or importance wholly dependent on who or what these tools are being used against. Now, you might say, the right acts similarly! After all, weren't the ICE agent's and Kyle Rittenhouse's killings excused by conservatives? But no, actually, these cases are not the same. The right doesn't excuse these killings because they were perpatrated by conservatives against progressives, which is how leftists view these scenarios. It is not the "who" that provides justification for these killings in the eyes of the right, but rather, the "why," which is self-defense. Regardless of the parties involved, conservatives, in general, recognize the right to self-defense. Leftists, conversely, might only recognize self-defense as valid depending on who is using it. Case in point, according to leftists, the ICE agent was not justified in shooting as self-defense after being hit with a car at a protest. But somehow, self-defense has been the go-to defense for Karmelo Anthony, a black teen who stabbed an unarmed student after getting into an argument at a campus sports event. Again, for the leftist, the justification for crime and violence comes not from "why," but from "who." And so, why does this matter? Why is this worth discussing? It matters because, as we saw with Charlie Kirk, regardless of how law abiding or moral you may otherwise be, as long as you are conservative, it means the left will support any and all violence or theft that befalls you. Unfortunately, the justification for harming you comes from who you are: their enemy. This phenomenon also explains the leftist indifference to the crimes of minority groups, like Somalis, or trans people, or illegal immigrants, or whatever other protected class. Put simply, in the left's belief system, if a crime happens, but there's no way to use it to gain political power, has it even really happened at all? Finally, with these revelations in mind, the right must stop entering into debates with leftists assuming they share the view that crime and violence are inherently bad, because though they may deny it, the truth is they do not.

Folks. I’m going to keep this real simple. - If you park in the middle of tha street and block law enforcement, they have a right to detain you for an infraction. If it’s done on purpose, it’s a crime. - If they are legally detaining you , and you try to get away, you have now committed a crime. - If an officer is in front of your vehicle and you drive forward while he/she is in front of you, it can be considered clear hostile act and an assault with a deadly weapon, because a vehicle has the potential to cause serious bodily injury or death - Which can lead to a law enforcement officer using deadly force to prevent you from hitting him or potentially killing anyone else. If you don’t want that to happen to you, for your safety and the safety of the officer… DON’T DO THAT!!

A five-years-too-late admission that Georgia illegally certified 315,000 ballots in the 2020 election, handing Joe Biden a “win” by just 11,779 votes, is not a small detail. It is a historic breach of democratic accountability. The fact that President Trump eventually won reelection does not erase what was done. He was vilified, canceled, and relentlessly prosecuted for stating what has now been acknowledged as true all along. If this passes without consequence, it will eventually be looked back on as the moment when inaction, not the wrongdoing itself, became the defining failure of democracy.

But keep calling us insufferable hags, and keep implying we're just takers who are impossible to please. Then keep scratching your head when young women like my daughters are not even remotely interested in marriage and family. Actually, please don't. I'd like grandchildren someday.

men will often say that women exaggerate the amount of work they do in their families and downplay what their husbands do, but sociologists consistently find the opposite- particularly in women who consider themselves feminists. they will play up their husband's contributions.

Yeah it's interesting. Most people seem to have missed the central point that the reminder is about going to the store at all, not a list or anything. As for photos, that's fine for esoteric things that most guys would know (your shampoo) but regular stuff? "I don't know what kind or milk we get" is just lame (unless he never drinks it). Women are tired of 1. Being the household guardians of all knowledge about what everyone needs and wants and uses and eats, AND of 2. Being told they don't really work or doing all that isn't work or isn't as "hard" as whatever the guy does. I think most women wouldn't mind any of this if the guy was saying things like "Of course, let me set a reminder so I don't forget, and if you need anything ELSE while I'm out, just send me the list and I'll get it." That guy isn't gonna be "lonely." Conversely, the guy who sort of winces and says "Remind me because I'm gonna forget...And you better send me photos because I don't want to walk around like an idiot looking for it, and if I can't find it don't blame me if I come home without it because I'm not gonna search..." Yeah, he's sending a message, whether he knows it or not: "You're not important; you can't count on me."

Dear Men: if a woman asks you to pick something up at the store while you're out (trust me on this) do NOT say "Send me a reminder," or "Send me a photo." You're a grown ass man with your own mini computer in your pocket. Pull it out, open it up, set your own reminder. Any less says "I really don't want to do this at all, but since I probably can't get out of it because I don't have a good excuse since I'll be out anyway, I'm going to make you do WORK to get me to do it, that way if I decide not to follow through (since I really don't want to do it in the first place or I'd have OFFERED by ASKING "Is there anything you need while I'm out," you know, like she probably asks you every time SHE leaves the house), it will be YOUR FAULT for not sending me the reminder. We see you, and your weaponized incompetence. Don't claim to be "grown men" who can "do what we want" and then act like you can't set your own damn reminders.
