First of all, I would like to point out that while making the booking, I selected the "Room with Breakfast" option; however, the room was booked without breakfast. Furthermore, I had booked two rooms for six people, and the room description explicitly stated that three adults could stay per room. However, in the room assigned to us, a single bed had been created by joining two single beds and two mattresses together Which caused the mattress joint to dig into my body. A bed on which two people could barely sleep. When I lodged a complaint about this with customer care, I received a response stating that a mattress would be provided. Subsequently, I complained four or five more times. However, it was all in vain; we ended up spending the entire night sitting up, and by morning, a false claim was made citing hotel records that we had, in fact, been provided with an extra mattress. Not only was the bed small, but the bedsheet and blanket were filthy, and the washroom was absolutely disgusting so much so that not even a single bucket was provided. Furthermore, there were no arrangements in the room for drinking water or for making tea. Were we charged over 6,300 just to spend the night in such appallingly terrible conditions ?
Now, either refund my money along with compensation or I will take this matter to the Consumer Forum.
