Are Unions hiding something? 2.Why PLI matter is pending since 1 year? Why Unions could not resolve it till now? 3.Matter was under discussion then why Banks credited PLI for officers upto Scale 3 and Why Unions did not take action at that time? Why Unions did not approach Court? 4.On 9th March meeting, DFS said clearly that PLI will be paid as per new rules. @PSBPunch @IndiaPostOffice @RBI @DFS_India @FinMinIndia Brah, good luck trying to get a BSBD account from a PSB. They’ll fight you tooth and nail to demotivate. I had to raise a complaint to the nodal officer to get an account opened. And this is PNB. Had a similar, but less awful experience with another PSB before.

Public Sector Banks (PSBs) removed minimum balance requirements in June 2025. Furthermore, PSBs have been providing zero balance accounts since 2014 under the PMJDY scheme. While Post Offices only accept deposits and do not lend making them a liability for the Government,PSBs operate commercially and pay dividends every year. Additionally, while money in a Post Office is fully insured by a sovereign guarantee, bank deposits are only insured up to ₹5 lakh. Who is ultimately responsible for this insurance,the RBI, the Finance Ministry, or the banks themselves?
