@Vman1234V @ZigZagUTurn2016 @WarMonitor3 Russia has no say in what other countries choose to do. Just as little as I have about what you choose to do.
English

@ZigZagUTurn2016 @WarMonitor3 I think all war is horrible, period. I am just telling people the consequences and the situation as it is now. That war needs to end in peace. There is no reason for it to be continuing. Nato needs to stop expanding and provoking russia

NEW: Canadian curling star Marc Kennedy claims he was set up by "premeditated" cameras to catch him "in an act" of cheating.
The Canadian curling team is now claiming to be victims after they were caught on camera 'double-touching' the stone.
"They have come up with a plan here at the Olympics, as far as I know, to catch teams in the act at the hog line," Kennedy said.
"This was planned... it was kind of evident that something was going on, and they were trying to catch us in an act."
Kennedy and Coach Paul Webster accused Sweden of setting up cameras to catch them cheating.
"I know we’re not the only team that they’ve done that to. So I think this was, I don’t know what the word is for that, but like a premeditated plan to try to catch us," Kennedy said.
Sweden is firing back at Canada, saying they've been sounding the alarm on alleged Canadian cheating for seven or eight years.
"We've been saying this for maybe seven, eight years or something. The media crew decided to place the camera on the hog line to see what was happening..." said Niklas Edin of Sweden.

@duke622 @PrairieVeteran Bye bye
This has blown up more due to him behaving like a child and yelling (when he's actually wrong), than the incident itself.
It's actually very funny.
English

@grollr @PrairieVeteran 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣goodbye you little fucking weasel.
English

@duke622 @PrairieVeteran I DIDN'T TOUCH IT!!!!!
DO YOU FUCKING HEAR ME???!?!!
English

Sorry man. I don’t agree with your earlier take. It isn’t cheating, it’s a minor infraction at worst. This has gotten ridiculous. It’s time to let it go. Great Britain has also been called for a similar infraction. It is not a Canadian thing, it’s a curling thing. They will have to figure it out. It is curious that a team that came in as a favourite, Sweden, was the first to blame another favourite, Canada.

@whodeybaby9851 @RasmusJarlov The rest of the eu not so much. Haha, are you kidding?
Sharing racist memes. Naming monuments after himself, attacking the media, defunding education, helping Russia and putin, should I continue? Go to bed bot.
English

@grollr @RasmusJarlov I respect Denmark and Rasmus I understand being pissed at Trump he was very disrespectful and I don’t believe this should’ve ever gotten to the point it did
But France, Germany, The UK not so much
English

@whodeybaby9851 @RasmusJarlov It’s not just Denmark, it’s the entire eu and the way that baffoon (and co) generally behaves towards anything.
English

That was awhile ago as well
While I know it’s terrible and he needs to apologize for it still, trust me disrespect of veterans of our allies really angers me one of the lowest lows.
But really since the WEF Denmark hasn’t really been mentioned much at all and it’s completely out of the news cycle in America
I understand the anger for those comments though pissed me off as well. Just pointing out “daily” is not true and it’s been a little bit since mentioned at all now

@1234567charles @dnsvch @JayinKyiv @grok So I don't know much about Czech politics, but I read about the outcome of the latest election. Their Russia-adjacent stance was broadly known before the election.
So why whine now? They were democratically elected. What did they think was going to happen?!
English

@dnsvch @JayinKyiv @grok Demonstrations are not only taking place in the capital, but across the entire Czech Republic — people do not want pro-Russian parasites like Macinka and Okamura, nor cuts to support for Ukraine, reductions in the defense budget, or failure to meet the 2% NATO spending commitment

@ashoKumar89 @KevinNaughtonJr And customers with huge SLAs start knocking on the door.
English

@KevinNaughtonJr Frontend wasn’t replaced- busywork was. Same story for backend. AI kills boilerplate, not ownership. The last thing to be replaced is the person who understands the system when it breaks at 3 AM.

@CounterTyrannyX @secretsqrl123 This was the funniest post I have read in a while.
English

@secretsqrl123 The US should triple down and pick a fight with any country making deals with China and India and Russia.
It's very important to always do loyalty tests for your allies. You don't want to find out you don't actually have allies when a war starts because you failed to test them.
English

@kayintveen @denicmarko @greptile We’ll se what happens. I do not think we will work in that way any time soon. To me that feels like all fun and games until something breaks in production and there is no fixing it in a timely manner. We use ai all the time. But we would never deploy big chunks of code unreviewed
English

@grollr @denicmarko Well i let Claude and @greptile review first. and i only review features that are reviewed positively by those tools.
Then i check the tests first to see if the approaches are good. before i continue.
English

@kayintveen @denicmarko I am prompting, but I’m also coding. Sure you can produce 100x productivity, or even 10000x. But who will do that code review? A review with 20 files changed +1500/-700 is quite chunky imo.
How will a person then review hundreds of files with tens of thousands of changed lines?
English

@grollr @denicmarko Sure i see a ton of developers around me not using a single prompt. But the devs are 10 or 100xing their productivity the manual coders will be out of a job soon.
English

@kayintveen @denicmarko That's odd because I write code every day and I still get paid.
English

@denicmarko software engineering as in writing code is dead already.
But i see the demand for skilled devs growing as we are able to make more complex applications in days instead of months.
English

@travelingflying Or they just see him talk or make any statement at all. How a democratic country can elect a more unfit person to steer the country is beyond me. Quite ironic that you complain about misinformation and propaganda in Sweden… when that’s (partly) how he ended up there.
English

@Acyn The Norwegian government is responsible for the Nobel Peace Prize the same way the US government is responsible for who gets an Oscar.
English

@Jeremyisbored1 @LeoSimpson @carlbildt Much of that can be resupplied by eu production. Take a look instead at what military parts used in American equipment that is produced in the eu.
English

@grollr @LeoSimpson @carlbildt Europe also gave a bunch of their weapons to Ukraine, so now they have to resupply by buying them from America to fight America? I don't think you thought this through.
English

@grollr @LeoSimpson @carlbildt The big number is the defense spending. What's the difference between a million and a billion? The total defence budget is over a trillion.
The small number is for the organization itself. These are the paper pushers that sit behind desks.
