@nig_michael Gypsum rate can be calculated by knowing how much exchangeable sodium needs to be displaced. Measure the ECEC when soil testing the area and the calculation is pretty straightforward . Need samples from each section of the profile you are treating.

For salt land regeneration I’m hearing that within fields country has been bought back by combination of deep ripping, drainage and gypsum. Deep ripped last year and saw improvement, what rate of gypsum and how often?

2/2 stubble after it was burnt (bound to the stubble) B) there was Ryegrass stubble there from 2022 that was causing the air seeder grief. Hence, an initial very high population of Ryegrass & nothing to do with the herbicide. Just a weight of numbers. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

1/2 Most interesting observation of the day, and most confusing?!? A client sprayed his Pre-em out, started sowing, but couldn’t get through the stubble. Burnt the thickest parts. Now, the burnt area is heaving with Ryegrass. 2 trains of thought. A) the pre-em was lost on the
