Candace is pretending that the entirety of the evidence against Tyler Robinson consists of just the surveillance footage. She’s framing this as if it exists in a vacuum without DNA, confessions, witness testimony, turning himself in, etc. The question is not whether the surveillance footage is beyond a reasonable doubt. And her followers lack critical thinking skills and the ability to deal with more than one point at a time, and they didn’t actually watch the prelim so they’ll eat it all up.

Margaret Thatchers famous quote about Socialism failing because you run out of other people's money is often repeated. While simple and accurate, it's really more than that. Socialism and Communism removes by force or otherwise, all incentive to achieve. Humans are driven to strive, builders to build. Why would anyone reach to invent, risk, create anything if there was no reward for their efforts? It's cute little utopian theory that we all would work for the "good of the whole" but the fact is that throughout history, outside of family or immediate community (and often not even then) that structure rarely succeeds in the way they imagine. Even the early settlement in Jamestown failed because they took a socialist approach. There will always be makers and takers. When you remove the incentives and build resistant processes to be a maker and amplify the ones to be a taker (see illegal immigration) you break the economic bond of society. That's why socialism eventually becomes Communism. Humans with nothing to strive for are easy to conquer and control.
