Most people donโt know this; but the military conducts virtually no training geared towards servicemembers knowing and understanding the founding document they swear an oath to. For years, the average servicemember sat through more training for โrape is bad (no shit)โฆand mentally-ill men can go in to womenโs locker rooms nowโ training than they EVER sat through learning about the Constitution. And even now, there is no appetite for it. Even as the DoW gets attacked for โillegal ordersโ and โunConstitutional dictatesโ, leadership still has seemingly zero interest in making inroads to better educating the force. Such a missed opportunity.

We were on day seven of a cross-country road trip, driving through our tenth state, about 2,600 miles in. We'd photographed ghost towns, cemeteries, Pueblo ruins, Route 66, and hiked 7 miles in Bryce Canyon. There were plenty of good reasons to turn around. We still had 2.5 hours to go before reaching our final destination when I shot this. His final guess at how many times we'd stopped for a photo by the end of the trip? Over 50. ๐

Sand . . . there's always sand at the bottom of this bag. You can't get rid of it.

@redrose_anna Have they gone to all 50 states yet?

Started my Marine Corps career with Iron sights and at the end of my career still used Iron sights.

How does one become this delusional?

Big Tech is busy creating silicon-human hybrid monstrositiesโฆ and no one cares.

@redrose_anna I try to be. Sometimes I fail. Idea: what would Anna tell 20 year old guys when it comes to life, relationships, and finding purpose? After all, we often get stuck in the moment, but how do we break the cycles we see around us?
