@atomical_on_git @mountain_mal @NanoBanana Yeah, there was a Google Street View app that could make photospheres. I still have it installed but it won't log in to my Google account or post anything I create anymore. But yeah, looks like it existed from 2012 until around 2022 on Android.

a bunch of you said this would be huge for real estate 🏡 so i pushed it further: virtual staging just went 3d 👀 the flow: 1. capture 16 ultra-wide photos 2. stitch into a 360° equirectangular panorama 3. feed that into @NanoBanana with a staging prompt → generate a newly staged 360° image 4. reconstruct that into a fully navigable 3d world using @theworldlabs you’re not just staging photos anymore - you’re staging space i’m starting to think 360° panoramas might just be the bridge between 2d and 3d worlds edit the pano. edit the world.

@Abathor_Game Cadash was one of my main inspirations as well. Amazing that this was an arcade cabinet (though I was partial to the TG-16 port).

@80Level I worked in a bookstore and we'd send back old books. One was a Leisure Suite Larry 1 hint book with a marker that revealed 3 hints the last being straight out answer. The last one for "why can't I cross the road without getting run over" was "Because there's no game over there."

@WillowCreativ @KevR75 I've actually always been curious about a good horn/antler mount. Like grab the horns and they're solidly affixed to your skull. Been pondering a wrestler's headgear type thing but now I'm wondering about 4 point welders harness.

@KevR75 I use a 4 point harness in my hornet mask :) The welders harness is a bit more suitable for those masks that are front facing instead of top-heavy

Inside the brown wolf mask. I used the adjustable band cut off a welders mask harness which i really liked! By twisting the knob you can adjust the tightness and the band can be rotated up out of the way

@gryffyn @theshaneisaac Hmm.. If it was installed properly, you should definitely see some changes. Are you sure you installed it on the C : drive? If yes, maybe try deleting it and reinstalling the launcher!

@NoogyTweet Put in a failsafe where if some condition exists, break and make that condition something you can control externally? I've done that in some shell scripting where I have to see if a file exists and breaks if it does.

I'm always nervous implementing 'while' loops, without fail I'll overlook something and the Unity editor doesn't make it easy breaking out of one.

@gryffyn @theshaneisaac Check out this image! The new update still has some bugs, so testers should report them. It’s a big update and now supports multiplayer. I actually met other players in E2V1 today😉

@neythebasque @theshaneisaac I do hope all the crypto nonsense doesn't detract from what web3 can be. Actually owning assets and "money" from games, not locked into a single game that disappears when that game is decommissioned is pretty huge.

@neythebasque Similarly, when I stumbled upon Earth2 in late 2020, I felt like when people could register domain names were free and industrious people registered many highly valuable domain names and got rich. That "ground floor" feeling coupled with a vision I agree with from @theshaneisaac

I always thought and I heavily invested in Earth 2 because I see some similarities between the beginning of internet and the Metaverse. Average people realized about internet in '99 and in 2000 it all exploded, everything related to internet skyrocketed as people understood it was the future. We know how it ended but it didn't mean people was wrong, it was just too early for that tech. We can see today that the biggest companies in the world are related with internet, all of them are nothing without it. Know, the Metaverse projects skyrocketed like internet in '21, because it seemed to be the future. Let's be clear here, in a world advocated to wars and fights, and not equal opportunities in life for everyone, people will want some space to feel safe, free and try to be someone that the real life doesn't let to be. That's what the Metaverse offers to people. A new and equal opportunities for everybody. Again, we all know how it ended, Metaverses (and all other projects), fall to the hell and it's been 4 years of wandering, in which most of projects have failed. Was the Metaverse narrative a lie? A dream? I think that like internet it was just too early for this tech, Metaverses were too young projects with almost nothing to do inside them. Projects for the future. But Earth 2 remained working in silent all this time, for 5 years, wasn't even a part of the '21 boom just to keep working on the plan. And now it's ready to start with a real Metaverse world, 1:1 Earth scale copy, pristine, ready to explore and build by the community. @earth2io $ESS #token #Earth2

@THEMEGA_x @PeckHoldings I think it's against the rules or at least the spirit to automate things E2 wants the players to do, even little things like collecting E-Ther. The point of clicking Collect is to get people to intentionally engage on a daily basis. Kind of minor but good to set boundaries early.

This is a clear violation and a huge overstep. IMO it should result in an abrupt end to the Earthie project. Enabling/encouraging cheating among countless e2 users is unacceptable and warrants an extensive investigation to everyone involved.
