I cannot figure out what magical incantations I have to make for my desktop iMessage and iPhone contacts to properly sync everyone. Certain people never show up as names on desktop no matter what I do.

This short film did a great job of working within the constraints of the medium to build something compelling and interesting. I love seeing how artists use tech constraints to unlock new creative solutions.

@RadioFreeTom My grandfather flew in B-29s, and Masters of the Air hits hard. The @EAA flies a B-17 “Aluminum Overcast” and for $400 you can ride along. Terrifying, exhilarating, and makes you appreciate the daring of those who flew in them. Highly recommended eaa.org/flights/b17.as…

@far33d While there will be a lot of snow, I’m guessing not a lot of skiing will be on the menu. To mitigate the avalanche danger they’re going to expend more munitions than the Somme.

Tahoe snow reports have reached ludicrous mode level. And I’m going to be out of town all next week with zero chance of experiencing any of it once the chaos subsides.

@Carnage4Life @BradBirdA113 That sequence is a perfect example: it originally featured Helen’s friend Snug who died in the plane crash. Certainly ratcheted up the tension but took the film a little too dark. It was the right call to change it. Doing that in live action: probably a million dollar reshoot.

@chrizmillr A couple of years post release, my wife was hit on by one of the performers at a Lego Movie-themed preschooler birthday party. “If you’d ever like to get the business from President Business, hit me up” he said, slipping her his business card.

10 years ago today, THE LEGO MOVIE released in cinemas. It was a joyful experience making the film - a celebration of creativity. To celebrate, I’ll post some memories and behind-the-scenes tidbits on this thread throughout the day.
