@garrytan is CC's native Plan Mode supposed to engage during the GStack flow? Just happened a couple times and it seemed to siphon off GStack plan updates from CEO/Eng/Design reviews into a separate CC planning doc. Implementing the GStack plan was therefore pretty incomplete.

@benthompson Seems super similar to the overzealous 2FA suggestion from email/messages that shows up next to every text field of every app and you can’t get it to go away.

This Mac app bug is one of the single most enraging bugs I've encountered in years! It's in all of the betas too. You get someone's @ mention randomly added to the chat when you press "Enter" and you have to click to get rid of it (and then it will come back on the next message).
Ben Thompson@benthompson
Mac app: if you @-mention someone in a group chat, the @-mention is just permanently stuck in the UI and enters itself into the chat if you press Enter iPhone app: tweets only unfurl at half-height, making them unreadable. Mac bug debilitating.

@conductor_build noticing that the default setting of having Haiku handle PR creation is instantly triggering chat compaction now that Opus' context window is 1M vs Haiku remaining at 200k.

now that it's been 2 weeks, what have you liked most about auto-memory? what's not working?
if you have specific stories of when it went well or poorly, we would love to hear!
Thariq@trq212
We've rolled out a new auto-memory feature. Claude now remembers what it learns across sessions — your project context, debugging patterns, preferred approaches — and recalls it later without you having to write anything down.

@bcherny Is it intentional for the main chat thread (in desktop app) to be so greyed out (and therefore hard to read) when the brainstorm skill presents you with the option selector? It’s really hard to get context on which option is right when the rich context in the thread is obscured.

A massive ship from the Claude Code Desktop team. We've been dogfooding this for a while, and can't wait for you to try it.
Claude@claudeai
Claude Code on desktop can now preview your running apps, review your code, and handle CI failures and PRs in the background. Here’s what's new:

@kieranklaassen @claudeai @OpenAI @opencode @FactoryAI @cursor_ai @geminicli Any recommendations on how to handle the review workflow without using up the entire context window? Using Opus 4.6 and it can't finish the analysis without hitting the limit, even on a fresh session.

Compound Engineering plugin now works in: @claudeai , CoWork, @OpenAI Codex, @opencode , @FactoryAI Droid, @cursor_ai , Pi, @geminicli

@nityeshaga @AnthropicAI @every Is each slide a static image or fully editable slides within Google Slides?

I forked Claude's pptx skill to make Claude Code generate gorgeous presentations
Claude can generate presentations using the pptx skill from @AnthropicAI but its output can be quite bland. Especially if you're used to the high aesthetic standards of @every.
So I played around with the pptx skill, iterated it, built a design system, gave it image assets, gave it access to run nano-banana using api and added custom commands.
End result? An every-pptx plugin!
It takes you from an idea in your head → creating a blueprint.md file for the plan → preparing image assets using gemini nano banana → constructing the final ppt.
All happening 100% inside Claude desktop app! s/o @amorriscode
Now our team can use claude code to generate full-blown presentations, in the ~@every aesthetic.
Check out the walkthrough below to see how it works.

@joshelman @Noah_L Same goes for Instacart. The costs don’t stay hidden for long. Simple flat fee (for merchants) structure that enables buy online and curbside pickup will win out in most markets over the long term.

Reminded of this article from my friend @Noah_L techcrunch.com/2020/03/16/the… tonight when I went to order two pizzas from a local shop. Total was $92 on DD with markup service fees and tip. Called instead and drove for curbside/trunk delivery. Cost me $54 direct.

@Altimor Not that it changes anything, but that video is from 2015. m.youtube.com/watch?v=uMM0lR…

Part of what makes Tesla different is that it’s fundamentally undisciplined in its roadmap prioritization, which allows it to spend resources on
amazingly cool — but quantitatively unjustifiable — ideas like this. A friend at Tesla told me “Elon is the roadmap”
