@well_keen @PuntoDBreak Kudos to her, though, for winning a 500 in just her 3rd tournament back and beating a top 10 player in the final, after being out for two months.
English

@PuntoDBreak "normal person"
She's from a billionaire family ffs
Out of touch

She was never humble or talented though.
Even before she won the US Open it was common knowledge she was very hard to work with. Even the LTA had issues with her.
And the talent part, where is that coming from? She won one event not playing a single top 10 player. She only has like 3 top 10 career wins in her entire career.
Stop being deluded, Pavvy.
English

I don't think Raducanu likes taking advice from others, I think this stemmed from winning the US open at 18 and I think the stardom really got to her.
She needs to get back to being humble, taking advice and working hard in the Gym and on her fitness as she has so much talent.

Emma Raducanu has now fired 10 coaches in 4.5 years 😳 She must be simply impossible to work with 🤷🏻♂️
English

@pavyg Haters can say what they want ,tennis needs Raducanu more than Raducanu needs tennis ,like it or not she attracts the Fans. Her R16 match against LuLu Sun is the moat viewed Women's match in the last few years with 5.6 millions viewers in the UK only .
English

I've often said recently, Tennis is struggling, it's not sustainable long term.
When you have players failing drug tests being treated like heroes/ inspirations and have a sport clearly corrupted many real Tennis fans will stay away.
Sponsors/corporates will be the new "fans".

@well_keen @Yuddha77 @UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu That’s why their decision to hand her a massive contract makes no sense. It feels like the marketing team didn’t bother doing even basic due diligence. There’s a reason her original big sponsors, Vodafone, Porsche, Dior, Nike, all chose not to renew.
English

@guernicament @Yuddha77 @UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu The thing is if she also says so much completely stupid tone deaf stuff that makes her unlikeable and arrogant what were they signing here for
Because obviously not the tennis results
English

@well_keen @Yuddha77 @UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu Her delulu fans keep insisting she wasn’t signed for her tennis, yet Uniqlo literally hyped her up on their socials before the first match and then posted that it wasn’t the ending they wanted. Brands don’t sign athletes for vibes, they expect actual performance.
English

@Yuddha77 @UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu They deserve to be replaced by AI tbh
They are trying their best to polish a turd
That gets messy very quickly tho
The atrocious tone deaf press conf before the tournament started was almost worse than the match
English

@jamesgraysport You can’t be this naive. She went to Paris to model for Uniqlo and give them exposure. She had no problem skipping the FO before when she didn’t get a WC and would’ve had to qualify. You’re just another person she’s managed to bamboozle with her PR lines.
English

The trolls came for Emma Raducanu before she even lost at #RolandGarros - just 25 minutes in when she was bagelled 6-0.
She could have skipped the FO (quite reasonably) and gone straight to grass, but she didn't want to miss another grand slam.

English

@TheTennisPorker @josemorgado Very true. Last year she was taken out by Zheng and Joint, players with almost no grass court experience.
English

@josemorgado People make out Raducanu is amazing on grass. She isn’t. Her career record is mediocre. Won 18 lost 14.
English

Raducanu.
"I have to at least take the fact that from, you know, a set and 4-1 down, I came back and made it competitive in the second set. Yeah, in a way I'm pretty disappointed. Obviously I wanted to do better, but I guess that's what I can take from today."
On the grass season. "Yeah, looking forward to getting back on home soil, for sure. Queens is always an amazing tournament, so I'm looking forward to starting there. Afterwards, I don't know. It depends how, you know, it goes."
English

@UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu Your signing doesn’t just look unprofessional, it makes you seem completely out of your depth in the sports sponsorship world, and it’s already damaging your reputation.
English

@tntsports The tragedy is no one would care for her losses if she wasn't so overhyped and overrated.
English

@Clayton761841 @BBCSport Her main priority is the sponsors. She showed up in Paris to model for Uniqlo, and once that box was checked, she's ready to head home.
English

@BBCSport One look at her instagram and you can tell she’s not a real serious player and only cares about ads and photo shoots. I counted 5 ads just on this page, she plays tennis for the opportunities it presents off the court.

English

@RottenKnee23 They look dumb posting stuff like this on their socials, only for her to already be out in the first round.

English

@UQAmbassadors @EmmaRaducanu Honest question, did anyone at Uniqlo actually do their homework before signing Raducanu? What part of her trajectory made you think she was a safe bet for good persistent performance?
English

@well_keen @pavyg She makes a mockery of what it means to be a professional tennis player
English

@guernicament @pavyg She's a shameless opportunistic fraud
A disgrace to the WTA Tour tbh
English

@egrrrrl8446 Absolutely, GOAT for a reason. Also not surprising that his only other loss this season came against Mensik who is not the type of player to be intimidated by anyone. You can feel there is no reverence towards him.
English

@guernicament 💯 I've lost so much respect for them. As Novak always says "you always have to believe in yourself. There's always a chance." No surprise he's the only one with a huge win over Sinner other than Carlos.
English

Amen big Foe. Half their problem is their mindset their lack of belief. It's pathetic tbh.
English

@egrrrrl8446 @VeS_789 @yeonn1k The way they’re collectively melting down because Sinner is almost universally seen as boring is genuinely hilarious. 😂😂😂
English

@JDan851 @sogo_eo Right, so why has Sinner’s accomplishments not achieved the same? That’s the point. Carlos has built a much stronger brand despite having a non-existent PR team. Would a French newspaper take out a double spread like this for Jannik? x.com/Kookytokine/st…
Kooky✨@Kookytokine
The newspaper of today talking about everyone missing Carlos : "The loss of a loved one perfectly captures a feeling shared by everyone... This includes his rivals, foremost among them Sinner... Speaking with complete sincerity, given the close bond between the two men..." 😭😭
English

@vossy1973 @josemorgado She never misses a chance to shift the blame. Read her interviews from 2021–22, nobody was forcing her into anything. After 5 years of her own decisions blowing up in her face, she is still not taking responsibility for anything. Why did Richardson agree to come back though?
English

@josemorgado She’s full of shit. I spoke with Andrew Richardson and the way they treated him back then is simply a disgrace. Also funny enough back then all the powers at be in British tennis stop contacting him. Complete joke and now no doubt they will on the phone non stop
English

@well_keen @TomToTheTom The hypocrisy! Claiming she’s not trying to win every tournament. The only reason she even bothered showing up in Paris was because her Uniqlo deal needed the exposure. Her real job is advertising.
