An attack on the duly elected President is an attack on the Presidency, is an attack on the democratic process, is an attack on the country. Doesn’t matter who is the elected President.

@MichaelVBarham @HT_GunWriter @Publix At the H BBQ in Prescott Valley today the guy at the next table was open carrying a nice 1911 in Condition 1. Mag well. Extended beavertail. Yaqui slide holster. 👍. No one cared. Well, I was impressed. 😉

@HT_GunWriter @Publix There was once a sign like that at the entrance to the Walmart in Prescott AZ. I'd see at least a couple of guys openly carrying every time I went there, regardless. Their silly little sign just disappeared after a couple of months.

I'm done with @Publix. They cannot "kindly" ask customers to stop openly carrying firearms. I never carry openly, but Florida's largest grocery store chain just gave in to pressure from the anti-gunners and made a very anti-gun move. It's time they reap what they've sewn.

@AnaxisV2 It's not a "compromise" to win back rights one step at a time or to build a solid foundation of public opinion that guards against further loses. It's strategy.

@Guntalk I'll give it a listen. I just don't believe that compromises, even with things as "small" as semantics, do us any favors. It's like using the term "sporting rifle." I don't own AR-15's for sport. I own them for defense, i.e. killing.

STANDARD. Thirty years ago I started using the term “standard capacity magazines” on the air. I encouraged others to pick it up as a way of countering the bun banners’ efforts to put another scary term into the public mind. Stop saying large or high capacity. It’s a gift to the banners.

@News2ATeam @Guntalk Get this right if you're going to rant; "assault rifle" is a selective-fire rifle using an intermediate-power cartridge and a detachable box magazine The US Army defined it in WWII "Assault weapon" is bs media buzzword designed to conflate, modern sporting arms with military arms

@AnaxisV2 Can I just say you might enjoy listening to my radio show (now a top podcast) to get a sense of what I’ve been saying about this for 31 years on the air. Plus another 20 years before that in print. 😉

@Guntalk Right. So it is about our opponents. If you're trying to shift public opinion, don't half-ass it. I don't want "standard capacity" to be what's "allowed." The 2A says "shall not be infringed," which means whatever size magazine we want.

@monsterhunter45 @DrewSav It’s their identity. Being angry, or offended, or “triggered” is a choice, is self indulgent, and is irrelevant.

@RandoKneegrow @TactiCoolMemes Again, not understanding. Public opinion can repeal the Second Amendment. Plus many infringements along the way. Managing public opinion is the Long Game.

@Guntalk @TactiCoolMemes I don't see where public opinion is mentioned in the 2nd amendment.

@AnaxisV2 Hardly. Assault weapon. Ghost gun. Saturday Night Special. Etc. Scary words to make people afraid. When they are scared they will vote away their rights in a futile bid for security. The language matters … a lot.

@AnaxisV2 None of this is about the opponents. It's about the general public and moving public opinion.

@Guntalk It's crazy you've been at it for 30 years and haven't realized our opponents don't give a shit about the semantics beyond how they can be manipulated towards their agenda's success.
