@Jnsmyh6s @___TheGOOdWitch I took a look at that study. Since the previous study in 2008, the trend is that abortions among those with religious affiliation had declined, and for those with no religious affiliation had increased. Patients with no affiliation were "overrepresented".

That verse actually weakens your point. It adds an escape clause: “according to His will.” So when prayers fail, believers can always say “it wasn’t God’s will.” That makes the claim unfalsifiable, every outcome counts as evidence. If prayer truly produced measurable results, casinos, stock traders, and sports bettors would statistically exploit it. But in controlled studies, prayer performs no better than chance. And even your own scripture contradicts itself: Jesus says “whatever you ask in prayer, believe, and you will receive” (Matthew 21:22). Yet millions pray sincerely for cancer patients, starving children, disaster victims, and still get silence. At some point, “answered prayer” looks INDISTINGUISHABLE from COINCIDENCE PLUS CONFIRMATION BIAS.
