You left out a few very important points. People exist because God created them. The people that drowned in the flood were taken into eternity and are still living. Had the flood not occurred the world which at that time was incredibly wicked would’ve continued on causing far more suffering for generation after generation. In other words, your entire premise is based on a very limited view which ignores the fact that we continue to exist beyond this physical death
