@sophylabshq @bcherny Can you share more how you use babysit? You run in Claude desktop? Claude web?

@bcherny the /loop feature is the one most teams sleep on. we run a babysit loop on every client project. catches review comments, rebases, small regressions automatically. saves 30-40 min per engineer per day without thinking about it.

I wanted to share a bunch of my favorite hidden and under-utilized features in Claude Code. I'll focus on the ones I use the most. Here goes.

@Johnie @fullstackgay Maybe it's just the check to see if there's an update where it fails, and because of the fail it's sending diagnostics data in a constant cycle.

86,400 seconds in a day. If there were three heartbeats a second this is 259,200. If each message were 0.01 Mb, or 100 kB, then this would be enough to hit 3 Gb in a day. Obviously so many things wrong with a scenario where something does this. It may be semi-acceptable for a real time cloud monitoring system, but for a washing machine 🤣🤣

@SarahKSilverman Very disappointed in your post. I would have expected more of someone of your stature. Israel held back in the past. And even now you can see images of a single apartment being exploded instead of the whole building (by using expensive weapons). What do you expect Israel to do?

@AOC Seriously? Gaza *elected* Hamas as their governing entity. They leected a terror organization who continuously using their own population as human shields. Hamas initiated this horrific attack, and should be DETROYED. If they care about their people they will release hoatages.

The population of Gaza is about 2 million. Nearly half are children. Millions of innocent people cannot be made to pay for Hamas’ horror. Collective punishment is a war crime. So are blockades to food and water. We cannot allow dehumanization to descend into further atrocity.

The genuine concern for Gaza's children is deeply shared. However, understanding the full picture is crucial. 18 years ago, Israel entirely left Gaza, enabling its growth and self-determination. Just a week back, Gaza residents worked in Israel, and supply trucks poured in. Yet, the group they elected, Hamas—akin to ISIS—initiated a catastrophic massacre, the most severe in both Jewish and Israeli history. This isn't about sides; it's about recognizing sheer evil. Hamas, operating from hospitals and kindergartens, shows no value for life. They deprive their own of resources, focusing solely on Israel's devastation. Israel's efforts to minimize civilian harm are unparalleled, but with Hamas's tactics, it becomes a grim challenge. Ending Hamas's reign, which threatens Western values and societies, is paramount.
