@Nate_Tice The entire argument is done in the wrong context. The reason RB’s make less is due to injury volatility and aging curve. If Love was a free agent straight out of college he would make way more than even Barkley for the next four years

I know it’s relative to the positional market yadda yadda. I just can’t get too upset at a potential needle moving player who has the ball in his hands on about a third of the offense’s plays each game making Khalil Shakir money.

Jeremiyah Love has signed his fully-guaranteed 4-year, $53.9 million deal ✍️ The Cardinals rookie's contract gives him the seventh-highest average annual salary among all NFL running backs, per @spotrac.

@AustinStanley81 Never in the history of professional football has a roster spot been won during non-padded May workouts, but careers have been derailed by injury during them so the risk/reward calc here is very simple

Garbage. I’m sure the veterans are all on board with this decision…
TURRON DAVENPORT@TDavenport_NFL

Robert Saleh said the #Titans draft prospects won't be on the field for anything other than team stretch during rookie minicamp. Saleh said it's something he does to avoid injury by getting a full eval on the draft picks who've been training for the combine.

@MikeHerndonSk1 I get that point but the Montgomery backstory, athleticism, and senior bowl tape make for a pretty compelling Summer fantasy

Tyren Montgomery will draw much of the attention, but I’m most intrigued by Bishop Fitzgerald and Aamil Wagner. Both guys currently have pretty light competition to earn roster spots and had draftable grades by a lot of analysts. Very interesting UDFA class for the #Titans.

I take back everything. I’m already sold on Tate being a stud and I can’t believe we’re getting Faulk too

@elliestxrryabs Yea.. it kinda ends up being a pretty significant plot point too. You can see why Coppola took it out of the movies. Rest of the book is great though!

@PaulPabst I feel like it has to be QB. The really interesting idea though is if you include coaches in this draft. Do you take bill walsh or Belichick first overall over Brady or White or LT?

If you had the #1 pick in an all-time NFL Draft. The player you would pick to start your franchise, knowing what you know about his playing career....go! (I'm going with Reggie White. I get a first-team All Pro D-linemen for 15 seasons. No drop off.)

The interesting thing about the RB position is a great one is more valuable (imo) if you ALREADY have a good OL. There’s a reason ppl keep pointing to the same backs and ignoring the Jeanty/TMac post.
♠️@antdasilvasurfa

@minakimes I think the argument needs to be tailored. A B+ receiver isn’t the same value as a A+ RB even on those players teams. You wouldn’t keep London over Bijan if it came down to it. You wouldn’t keep JAMO over Gibbs if it came down to it. Both WRs are certainly great, but not Gibbs

@GrantHorvatGolf 7 iron or 5 wood. 5 wood should have nostalgia attached to it since it’s the premier beginners club and then when you get a little better it’s still a weapon. Your take on the 7 is spot on, just feels like the perfect iron

Wesley Bryan and I got into a heated argument about what the majority of people’s favorite club is. I will stand firm and say it’s a 7 iron. There’s something about that club that’s very different than an 8 and 6. Wesley said a driver or 60 degree is the majority favorite. Who’s right here?
