@volklub Will balk at current sensor rich vehicles and will swear by old analog cars as the best. To each their own. If we were to consider the general populace who buy CNG for lower TCO, then as a whole we wont care if its ICE, EV, diesel vs petrol etc. We were even sold jerky AMT in the
English

A genuine question keeping dirt cheap running cost aside
Why does a powerful ICE car like Tayron feels more fun to drive than something like iX1? That immediate WOW factor, over the moon feeling and you keep appreciating the tech and that feeling remains with you for hours.
Is it how our brains are wired just because we are driving ICE for years?
Note: I thoroughly understand that as a package for 70:30 use, an EV makes better sense for city use if you gonna drive 50+ km daily and keep your car for 8+ yrs but here I am talking about that actual FUN factor only.

@AbC967041505 @NsNitinsinha Wait till people go for extended weekend on 20% + EV penetration. They will be in line for chargers at highways, at the destination etc. Plus if its peak summer, monsoon, bad weather, deal with power cuts. Most wont reach back for office on time.
English

@NsNitinsinha But, but, but EV lelo saar
Trip will be free saar
Just 20 hours for Charge saar
Saar environment, global warming, climate change etc

@RavleenOberoi @volklub Rebadged hycross is not doing well, no one will pay so much to own a maruti badge which has no snob value, prestige. Such is life, they chose to play the cheap, value lever hard and now it's stuck to their name.
English

@RavleenOberoi @volklub Has lexus, Hyundai has genesis, honda has acura and so on. What Maruti did wrong was they did not strip Maruti name completely from Nexa. They didn't think that Nexa could survive standalone. They tried to bring kizashi but it failed, no one wants a premium maruti. Even the

Why Maruti India is not ready to give more Premium features , interior and good body design. When people are ready to pay more @volklub Biggest Example are Skoda Kylaq & Kia Seltos
What is stopping them ?

@investor_vineet @Stock____ RBI probably regrets giving UBL to Bandhan due to its MFI exposure and now won't give it to anyone with more than 15% book in it.
English

@Stock____ Many banks have geographic concentration, the concentration rbi talking about is not geographic, it's segmental
English

@arjunjain_96 Diversification IMO. They will focus on AH, gold loans (troublesome if gold drops), etc.
English

@arjunjain_96 They will have to reduce MFI exposure to less than 15-20% I guess. RBIs decision doesn't make sense, as it gave Bandhan bank UBL with majority MFI book but I guess they are cautious now as Bandhan is in constant trouble. Individual loans should also be classified in MFI, its not

Ujjivan SFB’s universal bank license application has been returned by RBI — not rejected outright, but sent back with a clear message: diversify your loan book further, then reapply.
The bank has been making good progress — secured portfolio now at 48%, credit growth strong at 26.6% in Q4. RBI acknowledged the positive steps. But with ~36% still in microfinance group loans, the regulator wants more.
Stock will likely see a correction today. But the underlying business remains solid — good numbers, improving asset quality, and the universal bank journey is still on, just delayed.
For long term believers in the Ujjivan story, a dip might be worth watching.

@ferrarirules86 @Xroaders_001 What about a subscription service? Would you pay up for guaranteed uptime and availability? I understand its a chicken and egg problem, for CPOs. They cannot take the risk of higher CAPEX for reliability and customer not willing to pay for it.
English

@hack3ali @Xroaders_001 The idea of solar+bess for guaranteed uptime of the chargers is a good idea. Which alot of CPOs are exploring. The only challenge is cost recovery.
They can do non power outage and power outage pricing but at the moment putting solar+bess minimum doubles cost of installation

⚡️ THE POLL RESULTS ARE OUT! ⚡️
✅ 32% said "Yes" to buying an EV.
🤷♂️ 18% said "Can't say."
⚡️If just half of those fence-sitters decide to go electric... that means a staggering 40% of future car buyers are heading straight for an EV. 🔋📈
⚡️ 40% market share in the coming years is not bad!!
Sunderdeep - Volklub@volklub
Will your next car be an EV? If no, why not?
English

@adityalala2000 @shivaaa_95 Agree. Full suite ADAS not needed. Just give blind spot monitoring, 360 degree good cameras. Give factory fitted dashcam, the class of people who own German cars will appreciate this. Add hybrids if they dont want to get diesel. Make cars suited for India not EU.
English

@shivaaa_95 ADAS isn't that important IMHO . There are more important things like a proper quality 360 degree camera which should be provided . They are still using the terrible quality rear camera for both the FLs. They should take their time with ADAS tuning for India.
English

@Xroaders_001 @ferrarirules86 use batteries and solar as a backup during power cuts. The history of service providers is not good in our country. Our contract enforcement is also weak. But a charging network provider who promises uptime, availability through tiered pricing could win the hearts of EV owners
English

@Xroaders_001 @ferrarirules86 Such guaranteed convenience. Solar + BESS would have higher unit cost than from the grid unless the govt. Heavily subsidizes the batteries. A pure solar+BESS model might be unrealistic until battery costs reduce much further. Maybe if the startup studied the load shedding pattern
