I used to go into this building and work 5 days a week and I guess my room temperature take is that was good, actually.
There is nuance to everything, flexibility is important and exceptions will help attract top talent but generally you really aren't going to get a lot of sympathy when most Americans *are* showing up to work in person everyday.
