PHONE (4A) SERIES STOCK UPDATE Phone (4a) series has been our most successful launch to date more than 2x what we expected and breaking records across the board. Unfortunately this has come with stock issues and many of you have been asking for clarity. Launch inventory was cleared very quickly and within a couple of weeks we started running into stock constraints across partners. Normally launch stock is planned to both meet initial demand and allow us to calibrate production for the rest of the product lifecycle once we have a sense of the overall demand. But Phone (4a) series has performed far beyond expectations, including exceeding Phone (3a) series which was already our best launch to date. As a result the initial inventory was not even enough to meet the intial demand... Right now, the situation is that units coming off the production lines are being shipped out daily, straight to partners, which means we’re not able to build up sufficient stock at once to guarantee availability at a given time. We’re working flat out with manufacturing to catch up but this situation will likely continue until the end of May. If you’re trying to get one, the best approach is to check availability regularly across our partners, as stock appears at different times in different places, in limited quantities. We’re in 10,000+ stores but our main partners include Vijay Sales, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Flipkart. Appreciate the patience - we're on it and will be sharing more regular updates

@oneplus @OnePlus_IN Honestly didn’t expect this from OnePlus. This is a solid reminder not to fall for release hype again. Never buying a smartwatch on day-one promises anymore.

The OnePlus Watch 2 hasn’t received any updates since May 2025, and now I see that some Indian units randomly got Wear OS 5 recently. My watch is also an Indian unit, but nope — nothing here. Shame on you, OnePlus, for rolling out updates to only a few devices.
