@MikeShaw42 @havivrettiggur You can't do a gay marriage in Israel and all weddings are under the relevant religious authority, Jewish being under the aegis of the Rabbanut, which doesn't perform interfaith weddings. Israel recognizes them if they're done outside; people often get married elsewhere.

It is now beyond clear that armed “resistance” against Israel has failed. There is literally no theory of victory. No way forward. You can’t just go “Okay, we will replicate Iran’s strategy but do it better.” They spent $1 trillion! Proxies across the entire Middle East. Decades of preparation. And Israel achieved total air superiority over Tehran in the first day. What are you even supposed to do at this point? Sunni states tried. Egypt fought four wars against the Israelis. They lost each one. The Shia Axis of Resistance tried and failed. The Hamas asymmetric insurgency terrorist campaign failed. There’s no path forward where violence can work. Just acknowledge Israel’s existence, conclude peace treaties, and gradually work for a two state solution over time.

So imagine my shock and pain when I saw that you awarded a Pulitzer Prize to Mosab Abu Toha. This is a man who, in January, questioned the very fact of my captivity. He posted about me on Facebook and asked, “How on earth is this girl called a hostage?” He has denied the murder of the Bibas family. He has questioned whether Agam Berger was truly a hostage. These are not word games - they are outright denials of documented atrocities. You claim to honor journalism that upholds truth, democracy, and human dignity. And yet you have chosen to elevate a voice that denies truth, erases victims, and desecrates the memory of the murdered. Do you not see what this means? Mosab Abu Toha is not a courageous writer. He is the modern-day equivalent of a Holocaust denier. And by honoring him, you have joined him in the shadows of denial. This is not a question of politics. This is a question of humanity. And today, you have failed it.
