Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

Another out-of-touch CEO gets booed at a graduation ceremony after mentioning AI. This time it’s music executive Scott Borchetta, who was speaking at Middle Tennessee State. This generation has no fear because all they’ve ever known is capitalism in decay, and they rightly don’t trust AI to make it better. After being booed, Borchetta mocks the audience and says, “Then do something about it.” Careful what you wish for, Scott. The younger generation has seen nothing but war, economic crisis, and corrupt leaders on all sides, so they have nothing to lose but their chains!

Graduation Nightmare: AI Ruins Ceremony College staff proudly announces they're using a "new AI system" for name calls… and it completely botches it, missing hundreds of graduates' names. After families paid hundreds of thousands in tuition, grads get told: “Sorry, no name for you… but here’s a consolation picture” The staff literally laughs in their faces. UNACCEPTABLE
