@ChrisHopsonNHS @NHSPracHealth @NHS My employer (illegally) questioned the validity of my sick note after my wife was in ITU and our son in NICU. If @NHSPracHealth hadn’t been there to support me I would have been bullied back to work. Employers cannot be trusted with our wellbeing.

Lots of comment on @NHSPracHealth support service. For clarity. @NHS England is committed to ensuring all NHS staff receive the mental health support they need. The vast majority of this provision is, and always has been, via their employer’s health and wellbeing schemes... 1/x

An important part of what we do @EvelinaLondon is training future paediatric cardiologists Cardiology training is 5 years in addition to core paeds, but with excellent #juniordoctors like Dr Ronel Talker, the future of the specialty is bright #heartmonth @roneltalker

"Errors in judgment are inevitable in the practicing of an art which consists largely of balancing probabilities" - Sir William Osler Medicine is full of perfectionists, but unfortunately medicine isn't perfect. Please be kind to yourself.

This rare footage of workers at MI6 during WW2 has been hidden for 75 years But the piece of film was anonymously donated, providing an insight where cameras were banned and everything was top secret

What happens when you have no clinical background information available for your patient? What if there was a national database for discharge summaries held on the Summary Care Record? Clear, concise and available patient information = safety and efficiency. @NHSEngland @NHSX

You can get better, faster treatment by choosing the NHS service that can best treat your symptoms. This also helps the NHS by reducing the pressure on services like A&E so that they can help those people in most need. More info: bit.ly/2Gg3w7N

We don’t really use faxes that regularly and my trust has already banned them, but in broader terms how are we upgrading our clinical communication methods? Email doesn’t always cut it, pagers and bleeps are outdated and expensive. digitalhealth.net/2018/12/nhs-ba…

Reminds me of similar experiences moving from paperless to electronic health records at Addenbrooke's and at Barnet Hospital. Lots of benefits but some new challenges. Once we're through the transition it will be a great opportunity. bit.ly/2JCw1uz
