TCS should be taken to court.Why was it not POSH compliant? HR is often made the easy scapegoat,but we all know how much authority they actually have. She likely acted under directions from her immediate superiors,along with personal bias.The emails and messages need to come out.

What's baffling to me in the TCS Nashik case is that POSH norms are followed fairly rigidly, how did it not get picked up by their POSH team?

Companies have to report PoSH cases in their annual reports. So what was this esteemed MNC doing with the complaints???

1) That the 'Love Jihad' - can't think of another description - has happened in TCS has left me numb. Still trying to process this. 2) Tatas have always been a liberal group , but have had fairly strong internal processes . Individual acts might have been there, but a systematic targeting like this was unheard of. 3) Clearly , the systems have been compromised. Whether it is confined to TCS Nashik or extends to other branches as well , will need to be investigated. 4) Whether the systems have failed in other Tata companies too , is also open to question. 5) Too many reputations are at stake with ramifications across the country. 6) I think the least that is required are clear statements from Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran & TCS Managing Director K Krithivasan . We need to know what went wrong and what are the remedial actions they propose.

Asking for safe food, clean streets, functioning infrastructure, breathable air is now apparently an anti-national activity in this country. File an RTI, get harassed. Question a regulator, get an FIR. Post satire, face the heat under the new IT rules. The message from the government is clear: don't ask questions, just adjust to "Amrit Kaal" with a smile.

Giving Ghostty a shot. I don’t notice better performance compared to iTerm2, but the configuration is definitely easier. And since it’s just a text file, it can be part of my dotfiles.

The Supreme Court of India presented this data to the Union Law Ministry in response to a Parliamentary question by Mr. Matheswaran V.S. It is not known what transpired in each of these complaints, and how, and IF AT ALL they were processed by the CJI’s office. Judicial corruption is a burning issue today and the system stands exposed. Although the MP asked what action was taken in each of these complaints, the Parliamentary answer is mute on that point. The government is also mute on bringing guidelines or mechanism to record, maintain, and deal with such complaints. However, the MORE WORRYING and SHOCKING point is this: Before the Delhi High Court in my case on corruption and misconduct complaints against former Madras High Court Acting Chief Justice T. Raja, the Supreme Court Registry has sworn on the affidavit that it does not maintain data in the format sought for. But HOW did it give year-wise data to the Parliament then? So is the Supreme Court Registry lying on oath before the Delhi High Court? If so, this is UNPRECEDENTED and the strongest of actions ought to be taken against those shielding a certain judge by denying data! Who is shielding? Why are they shielding? And what fear do they have to simply answer a yes or no to my RTI question? Even going to the extent of misleading the Hon’ble High Court. The system stands exposed today! Accountability must follow.

Three banks trust me with their premium invite-only cards. My CIBIL has stayed above 800 for many years & I have never missed a single payment ! Last week, SBI Card rejected me for a basic card. No reason given. Folks, Here is what happened & why it still bothers me! My daughter turned 18 last month. She comes to me and says she needs her own credit card for college stuff & travel. Nothing fancy, just basic so she can monitor & handle her own expenses. That's a perfect parent moment ! Wohhaaa... your kid wanting to be responsible with money. Mr. Dad: "Advait Arora" aka @Wealthenrich is very excited ! 😊 A friend suggested SBI Card as it is simple card & with my background very easy to get. I apply as primary, add her later. Simple process & So I applied. 3 weeks later (20+ days), I finally get this cold blunt email reply (check the language). Application: Rejected. One line in the email. "We noted some observations in your bureau report." That is it. No details. No explanation. Just a customer care number. Arrggg... Three banks trust me with their best cards. My credit history is clean, but Mr. SBI sir says no to a basic card? Without telling me why? After a lot of patience from my daughter side, she casually asked me " Papa Card aa gaya kya?" (Did the card come?) All I had to say is "No Beta" ! 💔 She asked me what happened & I replied that some bank issue but we shall re-do the whole thing with some other bank. She acts like it is ok, but you can clearly see that small disappointment. As much as @msdhoni is my favorite cricketer for his cool calm character & I try to be that cool easy going person too, but this whole thing has sort of pissed me off, like that inner frustration that stays with you for days. Well, when you have done everything right, played by every rule, built your credit history over years, paid every bill on time without fail & then some funny faceless system just says no without even telling you why. I am not upset because of not getting the card, I really do not need it, it was as backup/individual plan for my daughter & I already have better cards. But because there was no reason given, just complete silence like my years of financial discipline mean nothing to them. #HDFC approved my Infinia in a few days, saw my profile & said yes almost immediately. #YESBank actually called me personally for Marquee, had a proper conversation about what I need & how they can help. They treated me like a person whose financial history actually matters. Same with HDFC Biz Black, superb service & very prompt ! #SBI felt like stepping back into those old government bank days (1980's or something) we all thought were behind us, where everything is hidden behind processes nobody can explain. Private banks have genuinely moved ahead, making fast decisions based on actual data, communicating clearly, treating customers like their track record & loyalty mean something real. I have decided to apply for #ICICI or #AMEX card next week. I am sure it will be approved within a few days & my daughter will be happily using it by end of January. Then I wish to write an email to SBI !! The gist here is that this whole experience will stay with me, because here is what really bothers me: we work incredibly hard, save money properly, pay all taxes, build our credit scores, we do absolutely everything right that the financial system asks us to do ! When something gets rejected after all that effort, the very least they can do is tell us why, give us some actual reason (I am sure they don't have any) & give us a chance to understand what went wrong ! ☹️ So, when people ask me about banks and cards now, I share this exact story, not to bash SBI, just being completely honest about what actually happened. Many parents across India face this same situation every single day, trying to help their kids learn financial responsibility early & then the system does not even have the basic decency to explain itself when things go wrong. Folks, choose banks that genuinely respect the effort you have put in over the years. That actually see your track record as something valuable. That communicate clearly + treat you like a human being who deserves basic answers. That is all I wanted to say. 👉P.S. - SBI, my CIBIL is still 800+.
