U.S. Defense Secretary Austin had to call his counterpart today to condole for the killing. I can only imagine having to explain to a foreign counterpart why one of their soldiers died not while training but on the streets of an American city.

Roughly ~30%. I pay more annually in taxes in one year than I received in benefits probably the entire time.
