The official WH account just got community noted for lying about the MOU giving $300 Billion to Iran. Brutal.

Think about it. No Iranian mines were found or had to be removed from the Strait of Hormuz. Iran shut it down, increased oil and gas prices, and almost brought the world economy to a halt, by Trump's own admission. . . . . . All by simply lying and making a threat without actually doing anything. They've learned a lot from this. I hope we have, too.

So you’re telling me that: → Trump took us to war with Iran → Gave us no strategy or plan → Spent billions of dollars and depleted our military stockpiles → Sent gas prices soaring at the pump for Americans → Threatened the livelihoods of our farmers and ranchers with rising fertilizer costs Just for Mr. “Art of the Deal” to: → Let Iran have $300 billion → Reopen the Strait of Hormuz, that was free and open before the war → Unfreeze sanctions on the regime  → Place no limits on Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon This “deal” leaves the U.S. worse off than before this illegal war. A complete failure and humiliation.

Either way, that would have been more than enough to expand ACA subsidies for 22 million Americans—but Trump says the country is broke anytime we suggest doing something that might actually improve your life.

The US is not paying Iran anything under this deal, and the people who keep saying this like @ChrisMurphyCT -- or, worse, who are saying that the US is paying Iran $300 billion, like @amyklobuchar -- are outright lying. The money that flows to Iran's is Iran's money: that the US froze and refused to give back but will now release under the deal. The $300b is the maximum Iran can get. That's not from the US or from Americans, but from a private fund financed by the Persian Gulf dictatorships and their oligarchs. These are just Democrats trying to prove to AIPAC and the pro-Israel lobby that they're more hawkish on Iran than Trump/Vance.

Do you agree with Trump being left out? For the first time in US history the sitting President was not invited to attend the opening of a predecessor's library. Clinton, Bush and Biden all showed up at the Obama library... no Trump. Your Thoughts?
