Kid in the 80's. Teenager in the 90's. Broke ass poor but had a BMX and a skateboard. Whole neighborhood full of kids and only two rules: Be home by dark and dont get caught. All the genres of music TV and movies were amazing. We didnt know we were living in a golden age.

As student loan debt nears $1.7 Trillion, it’s clear that @USEdGov was never intended to serve as our nation’s fifth largest bank. That’s exactly why we are partnering with @USTreasury to restore fiscal sanity and better align student aid programs with students, families and borrowers.

Trump’s strategic moves around the world—from Venezuela to Greenland, Panama, and Iran—are all part of a broader effort to blunt China’s rise. China’s control over energy, supply chains, and critical resources presents a danger most Americans still don’t fully grasp. Jillian Michaels and Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna explain why confronting this threat must remain a top priority for the United States.

@AmericanPamia @libsoftiktok It grows every years so Im sure it already more than this. Maybe having the border closed and deporting 3 million might have slowed it.

@allnewsisbad @DefiantLs They want to trade deal to have access to the US. Or in the case of China to bypass barriers the US has on them. The problem is not the trade deal but partnering with an adversary for the new world order. That moves you from competition to adversary.

@allnewsisbad @DefiantLs Poor little victims. Canada is not a partner they are competition. Japan: access to US markets are "critical" to investments in Canada. US would rather just get them to invest directly in the US. What does Canada offer that we would give that away? x.com/ctvqp/status/2…
CTV Question Period@ctvqp

Japan's Ambassador to Canada Kanji Yamanouchi says continued access to the U.S. market, as provided for under CUSMA, is essential for current and potential increased Japanese investment in auto manufacturing in Canada.

You could end the trade deficit with Canada overnight by not buying the oil and gas. Without that Canada has a large trade deficit with the U.S. So why do you buy it? Canada isn't making you buy anything. Until Trump started ranting about Canada being a bully MAGA wanted that new oil pipeline.

@DefiantLs Blocking me because you look silly wont make you right. We know what the benefit is to Canada selling all its goods to the US. What does Canada offer in return? Competition with US oil? Competition with US auto makers? Your market is tiny. You dont buy much in return.

@DefiantLs Canada wants free unlimited access to the largest market on the planet and offers a shelf on a corner store in return. They think this is a fair trade. All they really offer is competition for US businesses.

@ClawsOfCrab @DefiantLs That would be the part included in access to the largest market. You want to sell your products here. Oil and minerals. You are actually proving my point.

POILIEVRE: "It is true that Canada has a trade surplus with the United States of America for one reason. Because we sell the United States an enormous quantity of underpriced natural resources which you then feed into your industry and turn around at massive profits to your people."

Its not. Thats just what Canada tells itself. No one else would buy it at a higher price and if you refined and transported it yourselves it would eat far more than the $20 per barrel. You would be forced to compete on a global market while pushing hippy climate change that no one would buy.

@harmless_human @sarobertsonca We sell you 4.2 million barrels of oil every day at more than $20 less than market prices. So that means we subsidize the US to the tune of 7.3 billion per year. Every year - 73 billion per decade - and that's just in oil. The subsidy for electricity is also in the billions.

@PierrePoilievre Why would US do this? Canadian seem to think they offer something in return when they only offer competition to US businesses. Canada wants free unlimited access to the largest market on the planet and offers a shelf on a corner store in return. The think this is a fair trade.
