What we’ve lost is starting to sink in. It's the finality of it all that hits hard. Death has a way of doing that. Dennis Cometti's passing has flattened us at Channel 7... and I suspect it’s the same in many other workplaces and homes around Australia. It’s the sudden realisation of what we’ve lost… and how lucky we were. We may never see the likes of him again. As the old line goes, you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. In recent days Australians have been hearing those famous calls again. The wit, the timing, the brilliance. During the tribute at the footy last night, plenty were wiping away tears. The world feels a little duller today. And we can only imagine how tough this time must be for his loved ones. Our thoughts are with them. It must be incredibly difficult. ...............
