Don't give him the ticket. Let him retire home if his APC cannot give him a ticket. It is not his birthright. Thank you for your attention to this matter ✍️

Did you hear that Fulani boy say bandits are disturbing them in the bush? He was telling the truth. 💯
As a survivor of kidnapping and banditry, I can never forget the third guy(Awal) we escaped with. He was a young Fulani boy kidnapped while grazing his oga’s cows. His oga paid ₦5 million ransom, yet they still refused to release him. They kept demanding more money.
For 35 days, that boy suffered in captivity with us. No proper food, no peace, only fear, hunger, torture, and uncertainty. By God’s miracle, we escaped alive together.
Bandits do not care about tribe, religion, or background. They kidnap Christians, Muslims, Hausa, Yoruba, Fulani, Igbo anybody they can get. Pain has no tribe. Fear has no religion.
The sad truth is that Nigerians are all in deep trouble if this insecurity continues like this. 🥹💔

Some years ago, I met a young woman on Facebook. She should be around 32 now. What started as casual conversations gradually became a genuine friendship. We talked often, shared ideas, laughed, and checked on each other regularly. We met physically on two different occasions here in Lagos, but nothing romantic ever happened between us. We were simply friends, and good ones.
She is a tailor, hardworking to the core. She sews from home. Most times, when I tried to call or chat, she was always busy with her sewing machine. I used to tease her, telling her to rest sometimes, to go out and enjoy life a little and get a man. She would laugh it off and say work does not allow her. That was the kind of person she was. Focused, respectful, and extremely diligent.
For over two years, we have not been in touch. Then, a few days ago, I got a message from her on WhatsApp. She said she needed my help. That alone shocked me, because she was never the type to ask anyone for help.
She told me she had been sick and had travelled to the village to take care of herself after suspecting malaria and typhoid. Along the line, she discovered her blood pressure was dangerously high. She could barely raise her hand; part of her body was weak. Immediately, alarm bells rang in my head. This sounded serious, possibly a partial stroke.
When I asked about hospital care, her story was not clear. Something didn’t sit right with me. I asked for a video call to be sure it was really her. It was. I then spoke to her elder sister, who told me the fuller story.
One morning, she woke up unable to stand properly. They checked her blood pressure at a nearby place; it was close to 200. Since then, she had been at home, untreated, due to lack of money.
Honestly, I was shaken. This young lady never knew she could even have BP because she has never checked.
I sent her money immediately and insisted she go straight to the hospital for proper tests and treatment. This happened two days ago. This morning, she messaged me again, saying she was feeling much better.
This experience touched me deeply. Not because I am rich. Not because I am special. But because life has a way of humbling us all.
You don’t need to be married to someone, in love with them, or related by blood to show kindness. You don’t need a title before you act human. One day, life may push you to ask for help from the least expected person.
Be kind. Be humane. Be mindful. And above all, always check your BP. Don't assume you're fine. In a country full of shits such as Nigeria, it's suicidal not to check your health status often.
As usual, I know some people will attack me for sharing this story. This story is not to seek praise or to make you see me as a good person, but to remind us that kindness still matters. And I pray that God perfects her healing and restores her fully.
P:S: For those who usually run to my dm to ask for help when I post a story, please don't. I'm not rich. I'm just a young guy doing my bit.

This video depicts the aftermath of the February 2026 massacre in Woro (and nearby Nuku) community, Kaiama LGA, Kwara State, Nigeria. Armed gunmen (reported as jihadists/bandits) rounded up villagers, tied many victims' hands, and executed them, killing over 160 people. The attack happened around Feb 3-4, 2026. Multiple news outlets (Al Jazeera, BBC, Reuters) reported it as part of ongoing insecurity in the region.

@JohnEzeakolam I think we need to start looking for ways to download these gory videos and send to our parents and relatives that aren't on Twitter, so that they too will be aware of what's going on. Many of them are still in the dark.
