Tope A teacher & A Farmer I Will Never Give Up 💪)
This boy came yesterday to buy from us, my girl asked what he wants to buy and he started calling it out for her off hand. When he mentioned Cowbell Milk 3 rolls, My girl was like , do you mean 3 satchets or what ? HE repeated the same thing, my girl got a bit confused naybe because of how he do call them. I got up and call the boy to come closer, he did and I asked him to repeat what he wanted. To my greatest surprise, this boy starts mentioning what he wanted without list. More than 15 different items and he didn't make any mistakes. After bringing them out for him, we checked and it's N38,500 We asked him to bring money , he dipped his hand inside the sack bag he's carrying and brought out a bunch of money, counted out N39,000 and give us, then we give him change of N500 then he left. This boy is not even up to 10 years and he can be able to call all these things without any mistakes. When I was like him, you don't dare send me on errand that I can buy up to 5 things , I must forget almost 2 or 3 of them because I will be playing on the road as I go for the errands. Well, the mum of the child is doing a very good job on him, for her to entrust him with such amount of money at his age without thinking if he will be able to get all things , get cheated or even throw away the money. At 10 years old, can you even keep track of the money your parents send you without making mistakes?

The boy is not the story. The mother is. She trusted a 10 year old with 39k and a list of 15 items. Not because he was ready. Because she was raising him to be ready. That is the parenting that produces adults who do not panic under pressure. The errand was not shopping. It was a lesson in responsibility

Sometime last year...i raised a point in supporting the abolishing of iri-ekpe (taking your brother's properties when he die without having a son) in my umunna (kindred)...It didn't scale through....I had to wait for elections of umunna to come...I contested for chairman and lost with 3 votes....then i was made the vice chairman unopposed....The opportunity to put an end to that taking over of a man's properties because he didn't have a son now lies in my own hand.... February 8th 2026 being umunna meeting... chairman travelled to China for business meetings and handed full authority to me to be proceeding on affairs of the meeting...I did what I have to do....I used just one meeting to put an end to that trash.....The only way you can inherit your brother's properties in my umunna currently is if he died without having a child at all and the wife die after and leaving no one else that's when you can now enter..... We will keep rising!!!!

@i_am_ph1lip @Wizarab10 Exactly what I thought. levity She more or less said many people go to report cases at the police station, because the police treat similar issues with levity. How does that even make sense?

@Wizarab10 “However, you must know that false rape accusers are bold enough to come out with stories because we live in a society that treats rape with levity.” That line just off me. So Mirabel came out and was crying because she knew we'll treat her case with levity cause I no understand?

1. “However, you must know that false rape accusers are bold enough to come out with stories because we live in a society that treats rape with levity.” This makes no sense. False rape accusers are many in the society and thrive because they expect to be believed and get away with it. Punishing rapists has zero relevance with false rape allegation. People who lie about being raped do that because they expect an innocent person to be punished for rape and have his life destroyed. This is why I said every case of rape should be addressed on its merit because that determines if the allegation is true or false and who gets to be punished. 2. “A society that even celebrates it. Case in point.” What case in point? 3. “It’s very simple. If rapists know that a stiff punishment awaits, rape cases reduce and the attention false rape accusers crave also diminishes.” You’re reducing false rape allegation to attention as thought it is not an actual crime. The victim of false rape allegation is the person falsely accused of rape, not somebody that was raped elsewhere. False rape allegation has an actual victim - the person being lied against. His life’s destroyed. Stop reducing it to attention. If false rape accusers know they would be punished like actual rapists, false rape allegation would reduce. Rape already has a documented punishment in our laws. You just have to prove your case in court. False rape accusers still get away with destroying people because it has not been made a punishable offence yet to falsely accuse someone of rape. Finally, you actually take false rape allegations lightly. Your initial tweet showed that. This tweet below buttressed it. You were nowhere to be found when the TL was filled with over 300 cases of female rapists abusing children. This is not about rape or victims. You just have a problem with men. If you cannot speak about rape regardless of gender of the offender and victim or speak about false rape allegation, you are simply performative.
Hauwa 🌟🌬@Hauwa_L

I do not take false rape accusations lightly and nowhere in that tweet did I say that. I think wrong accused people suffer psychologically. However, you must know that false rape accusers are bold enough to come out with stories because we live in a society that treats rape with levity. A society that even celebrates it. Case in point. It’s very simple. If rapists know that a stiff punishment awaits, rape cases reduce and the attention false rape accusers crave also diminishes. People on the TL have condemned rape but I’m speaking on the people who only wake up when false rape accusations arise and are silent when rape occurs. So yes, those people are big giant fools.

He didn't date her for 13 years. They dated for 13 years. My only problem with the opinions flying around is the same thing I've witnessed in my 10 years on this app. If she was the one that left, you would have said she did what was best for her. Seen this happen over 100 times. A man never does what is best for him. He must be Lucifer

I have a floor mate in Uni days. Anytime you do him a favor, maybe borrow him your hot plate or you give Onions to cook his beans, his only prayer is “Baba mi, o ni ya werey” . Meaning “My guy, you will not run mad” 😂 Bro, I gave you onions, why are you praying against madness?? One day, it was about to rain but he was still in class. I stepped out of the room and saw his sneakers on the balcony so I took them in. When he came, he almost fainted because I wasn't around. The moment he saw me coming, he said Jydo, walahi won ti ji bata mi ( honestly they've stolen my shoes) I said no oo, it's in my room, I took them in when it was raining. I entered the room to bring the shoes out. As I was about to hand it over, I already knew the prophecy that was coming 😂. So I preempted him I said it first, he said it too at the exact same time : “O NI YA WEREY” 😂😂 At that point I realized this is not a prayer anymore, it’s a reflex 😂

It's only in school I have six packs, I'll maintain a strict diet and exercise to stay fit, Sometimes, my schedule is so tight that I forget to eat. Once I go home for the holidays, it's an entirely different ballgame and it's almost impossible to stay fit. My mum wakes up every morning and ensures I get breakfast. If she steps out of the house 7 times, she'd always buy me something edible the entire 7 times. She'll buy fruits, meds and supplements, drinks, snacks and anything that catches her attention. If she cooks and I refuse to eat, she'd literally fight me. She'd check my skin every morning for dark spots, check my teeth every week for decay and also wakes up every night to check up on me when I'm sleeping. Nothing beats home fr!

@famous_vic60115 If everyone ignored humans such as these, you'll see that they'll put themselves in order. Most of the time people tend to continue what they do because it captures the attention of the masses and puts them in the spotlight. Ignore nonentities and watch them correct themselves.

LAGOS FOOD VENDOR👩‍🍳 MUMMY OF LAGOS🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳
I lost 80 percent of my customers because I chose kindness over structure in my business. I kept someone on my team because she begged. She said she had 6 children and letting her go would finish her. While I was trying to save her, my business was dying. Orders were getting messed up. Quality was dropping. Customers were leaving quietly. I kept correcting, she kept apologizing, and I kept hoping things would change. They didn’t. I ran at a full loss last year. By the end of January, I had to face reality. If I didn’t make a hard decision, there would be nothing left of ChopMide. So I chose my business. Since February, I’ve only recovered about 10 percent of my customers and we can’t see the growth. And the painful part is, I understand why the others left. I don’t blame them. But now, the food is different. The quality is right. The standard is where it should be. All I want is a second chance. I may not get all 80 percent back, but if even 60 percent return, I’ll be grateful. This is me rebuilding. This is me doing it right.
LAGOS FOOD VENDOR👩‍🍳 MUMMY OF LAGOS🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳@imole__olorun

I have barely had time for myself since I started cooking in the restaurant. I wake up by 5:20am and get to work before 7:30am. Food has to be ready before 10. When I started in February, it used to take me over 4 hours to prepare all the meals. Now I’m always done in about 2 hours 30 minutes. Imagine cooking close to 12 different meals with different proteins in less than 2 hours 30 minutes. No sitting, no assistance. Just me, my AirPods, and full focus. It’s really stressful, but I think I’ve grown to enjoy it because of all the positive reviews coming in.

There's a lot happening on the internet and it's not only about music. We see the likes of Reekado, Lil kesh, Diles, Runtown etc left a record label and went silent. To stay afloat you need a backbone in the music world and this person will not literally show you off but will give you some crack codes on how to get it going, where to get the support and whom to meet. Wizkid did it to Bnxn and he understood the game Burna boy did it with Seyi Davido did it with Zlatan The same thing happen on X, you need a bigger account to show interest in you and walk you down the aisle but is very difficult to see one here.

Give 100 married women 100m each and there's a 95% chance 90% will divorce their husbands. Give 100 single women 100m each and less than 5% will get married to their current boyfriends, the others will start looking for men with over 100m. Give a 100 married men 100m and few of them will take extra wives, others will likely keep one or 2 sidechicks. Give a 100 single men 100m each and 90% will get married within 2yrs. Men distribute wealth, and women hoard it.

If you hire 700 men on N600,000 per month in Nigeria today, there's a good chance you may be invited to 500 weddings in 2 years If you hire 700 women for the same amount, 90% will wait for men earning N1,000,000 per month to propose Hire men, to promote marriage in Nigeria

Why are men so much better at chess than women? This is one of the most uncomfortable questions in all of gender discourse. Chess is a purely intellectual sport, but anyone familiar with it knows the performance gap is huge. In all of chess history, only three women have ever managed to crack the top 100, and as of me writing this, the current top 100 players are all men. A gap of this magnitude cannot simply be explained away by "cultural factors". In the video, you can see how the kid quickly shoots down the woman when she tries to flex being a "grandmaster". He points out that her title is actually that of "woman grandmaster", which is a different and much less prestigious title that was created precisely because so few women manage to reach the grandmaster title. So what is the reason for this huge disparity in a purely intellectual sport? I think it is quite obvious that, over the course of human evolution, men and women were naturally selected for different tasks, and that this has resulted in them developing different adaptations, both physical and mental. The gender that was constantly busy with hunting and warfare naturally developed a better ability for deep focus and tactical thinking, while the one that spent most of its time in childbearing and childrearing unsurprisingly became better at multitasking and empathy. Yes, this is a simplified look at a much more complex subject, but by and large, it holds true. Unfortunately, acknowledging this kind of realities is seen as "misogynistic" today, as our postmodern culture believes the ability to play puzzle games well is more impressive and worthy of admiration than high-level mothering instincts and skills. Today, the most underrated kind of excellence is the silent genius of an amazing mother.
