@AwakenedOutlaw The other book President Trump refers to consistently in his writing is "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. Read that and "The Art of War" and everything he does makes perfect sense.

RE: Trump & Sun Tzu The latter, a famed Chinese military strategist penned the ‘Art of War’ in the 5th Century BCE, while the former channels it. And he’s done so his whole adult life. Hell, he even wrote a book titled, ‘The Art of the Deal’. In regard to how Trump operates, you simply can’t look past the teachings of Sun Tzu. But yet again, it would appear that his enemies haven’t even considered reading it. In the book Trump channels Sun Tzu by emphasizing and exploiting disorder and confusion to create befuddlement within the enemies ranks. And you do so with while leveraging deception and unpredictability to gain the advantage. This is how and why Trump keeps his opponents off balance and out over their proverbial skis. Take those suffering from advanced TDS, for example. I’m convinced that Trump purposely triggers them to his advantage. And he’s doing so daily currently. And, yes. That could well include starting rumors that the left and fake news media run with. See, the more insane the left acts, the easier it is for Trump’s agenda to be considered by comparison and moved through. It becomes sane vs insane. Or at least semi-sane vs complete batshit. 👊😁 The impt part being the comparison between the two camps. It’s when you consider the optics from what your average citizen witnesses that matters here. Turns out goading your enemies into be-clowning themselves, and on demand at that, is a rather effective strategy. And they LITERALLY can’t not take the bait every damn time. "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity" ~ Sun Tzu

🔴🐓💰 CONNECTICUT: Tolland Cockfighting Ring Takedown - 100 Arrested, including 55 Illegal Aliens Connecticut State Police, working with the Department of Agriculture, dismantled a large-scale illegal cockfighting and gambling operation on May 16, 2026, at a residence on Mountain Spring Road in Tolland. Officers executed a search-and-seizure warrant at the property, described by town officials as a secluded former quarry, uncovering an active event that drew participants from across the region. I chose this WTNH article to quote post because they listed all 100 names of those who were arrested. Thank you @WTNH Authorities seized approximately $90,000 in cash and recovered 273 birds, all of which were euthanized by the Department of Agriculture due to their severely deteriorated living conditions. The homeowners, Elvin Miranda, 59, and Lisa Miranda, 66, were among those arrested. They face charges including cruelty to animals, professional gambling, operating a gambling premise, and risk of injury to a minor. Both posted $250,000 bonds and were released pending court appearances. Many of the other arrestees were charged primarily with animal cruelty and related gambling offenses. A full list of names was released by state police, showing a range of ages and backgrounds. Immigration Status Update Follow-up reporting from News 12 Connecticut and the Journal Inquirer confirmed that 55 of the 100 arrested individuals were identified as undocumented non-citizens. Five U.S. citizens were also reportedly involved in organizing the event. No further details on specific individuals’ statuses or any federal immigration holds have been released publicly at this time. Tolland Town Manager Brian Foley noted that the operation’s location in a quiet suburban area near major interstates highlights how such rings seek seclusion. State police described the bust as the result of a lengthy intelligence-led investigation. This case underscores ongoing concerns about illegal animal fighting rings, which are often tied to gambling, organized crime, and significant animal cruelty. Court dates for most defendants are scheduled in early June 2026. @EROBoston @SecMullinDHS @TonyDeAngelo7

This is my point, my concerns are documented, yet remain unaddressed. I have made many good faith efforts to get this resolved, speaking to at least a half dozen people online and over the phone over a nearly three week period - with no result, other than a continued waste of my time and effort. The ball is now in your court.

🚨IHG Alert! Denial of service to the elderly. Cancer patients next? I first became familiar with IHG hotels three years ago when I traveled halfway across the country and spent nearly two months in cancer treatment far from home. The excellent hotel I stayed in was an IHG hotel and so I became a member. Fast forward to two weeks go. I was once again traveling across the country for another stressful and important life event. After driving all day across many states I arrived at a Holiday Inn Express where I had stayed two months earlier. It was wonderful then, and I was looking forward to another stay. I was greeted by a young girl, slouched in her chair. She did not extend a courteous greeting, and without looking at me, simply told me parking would be $5 extra. I hadn't seen this when I reserved and I asked her to tell me where the charge was posted. She was visibly annoyed and impatient with this reasonable question, and behaved in a confrontational and condescending manner. When I returned with my luggage I told her how different this reception was from the one I had experienced at this same hotel before, and felt her behavior was rude and unwelcoming. I did not raise my voice. She told me I was making her uncomfortable and cancelled my reservation on the spot and said she would call the cops if I didn't leave. Shocked, I told her I was sorry if I'd made her feel  uncomfortable and asked her to please reconsider as I was exhausted, in my 60's and not up to finding a new hotel after driving all day. She refused. Distressed that my reservation had been canceled for no reason, I asked to speak to a manager, there was none to be found. I had to resort to texting via the app, got no help, support or customer service of any kind. This is my main concern. IHG online and IHG Corporate were no help. Not only that night, but since then. There was no management to speak to, and no help in resolving the situation from IHG at any level. Their repeated refrain was "We have the right to deny service."  I do not dispute that. But I had done nothing to justify denying service. I did not raise my voice or disturb the peace in any way. My room was paid for. I respectfully asked for points to allow a complimentary night for a future stay, as nothing justified denial of service in this instance. To date, that request has been denied. I'm left wondering about the legality of IHG's behavior towards a paying customer and member. If IHG can deny service to anyone at any time without justification, how can anyone trust a reservation made at an IHG hotel? No manager, no standard of behavior for employees, no online help and no help of any kind at any level. I spoke to three separate people at IHG over a two week period, and I don't believe a single one was actually in the United States. What if this had happened when I traveled halfway across the country for cancer care? I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Eastern Europe and Japan, often being on the road for months at a time. Nothing like this has ever occurred before. Do not book with IHG, you may arrive and find you have nowhere to stay! @IHGCorporate @IHGOneRewards @HIExpress @IHGhotels @IHG_Deals

🚨 CONNECTICUT'S UNTOUCHABLE DEMOCRAT POWER COUPLE: The Lamonts’ Pattern of Self-Dealing Demands an Immediate FBI Investigation and Full Forensic Audits For years, Connecticut taxpayers have watched in frustration as Governor Ned Lamont and his wife, Annie Lamont. co-founder and managing partner of the high-powered venture capital firm OAK HC/FT, appeared to blur the lines between public service and private profit. While mainstream media briefly touched on isolated “potential conflicts” during the COVID-19 pandemic, independent journalists Tony DeAngelo (@TonyDeAngelo7) and Professor Bob Swick (@SwickSpeak) have relentlessly documented a deeper, more troubling pattern: no-bid state contracts funneled to OAK-backed companies, official business conducted on a private family office server, suspicious Cayman Islands offshore vehicles tied to university foundation money, and a network of FOI-exempt nonprofits that shielded decision-making from public view. These are not ancient history. As recently as April and May 2026, DeAngelo has publicly detailed how the Lamonts allegedly began “scanning and deleting emails” on their family office server covering Sema4, AdvanceCT, Digital Currency Group (DCG), the UConn Foundation’s Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund, and more, right after his reporting broke. Yet no subpoenas have flown. No forensic audit of the server has occurred. No legislative committee has demanded documents. The Connecticut GOP and legacy media have largely looked the other way. Enough is enough. The people of Connecticut deserve transparency, accountability, and, given the scale of potential public corruption, a full FBI investigation backed by independent forensic audits. The Sema4 Scandal: No-Bid Contracts, Post-Contract Investments, and $67 Million+ in Alleged Gains The clearest example remains the 2020 COVID-testing contracts awarded to Sema4 (later rebranded GeneDx), a Stamford-based genomics lab in which OAK HC/FT held a significant stake. State records show Sema4 received approximately $17.2 million in May 2020, followed by an $8.4 million no-bid add-on later that year, with contracts worth tens of millions overall when including prior and subsequent deals. OAK HC/FT had invested in Sema4 *before* the first major contract and, critically, *increased* its investment in July 2020, *after* the state deal was signed and as testing volume surged. When Sema4 (now renamed GeneDX) went public in 2021, OAK’s stake was reportedly valued at over $66–67 million, according to SEC filings and DeAngelo’s analysis. The Lamonts pledged any family profits would go to charity and claimed none were realized (the stock later plummeted). The Office of State Ethics issued a formal clearance based on recusal and disclosure. But here’s what was never examined under oath: Did the no-bid awards and state imprimatur directly inflate Sema4’s valuation and reputation, benefiting OAK’s limited partners and the Lamont family’s broader wealth? DeAngelo has repeatedly noted the timing, the dollars, and the absence of competitive bidding, all while the governor’s office insisted it had “no role.” This was not an isolated favor. Similar patterns appear with other OAK portfolio companies, including early investments in Digital Currency Group (which later received state relocation incentives) and questions around AI legislation in 2025 that critics say treated OAK-linked firms more favorably. The Private “Family Office” Server: Official Business Hidden from FOIA and the Public Even more alarming is the alleged use of a private Lamont family office server for state business. DeAngelo has reported, with specific references to COVID-era communications, that Ned and Annie Lamont routed discussions involving Sema4 contracts, AdvanceCT meetings, DCG, UConn Foundation investments, and CTInnovate through non-.gov accounts. Recent CT Insider reporting confirms the governor used personal email and phones for official matters, forwarding state emails privately and creating documented gaps in public records. DeAngelo’s April 2026 reporting explicitly warned that the Lamonts had a “head start” on scanning and deleting relevant emails once the story surfaced. No independent forensic recovery has been attempted. Connecticut’s Freedom of Information Act is meaningless if the governor’s inner circle simply operates outside the official system. This is not a minor administrative slip. It is a potential obstruction of public oversight into how taxpayer dollars were awarded. Cayman Islands, UConn’s Horsebarn Hill Fund, and Offshore Timing Layer on the offshore dimension. Annie Lamont’s OAK HC/FT has documented Cayman Islands partnerships and structures. DeAngelo has highlighted the UConn Foundation’s massive “Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund” (a Cayman-based vehicle with an Ugland House address holding tens of millions) and its suspiciously timed investments aligning with Sema4’s IPO and OAK’s stake. Public university foundation money funneled through opaque offshore entities, potentially propping up companies that directly enriched the First Lady’s firm. No state auditor or legislative committee has demanded the full investment ledgers, timing charts, or limited-partner disclosures. Add the Tidal River Network, a “philanthropic” women’s/minority VC initiative co-founded by Annie Lamont and a relative of former Gov. Malloy, and Saudi ties via Sanabil Investments as a limited partner in OAK funds. Each layer adds opacity and potential influence peddling. AdvanceCT: The FOI-Exempt “Shadow Government” for Secret Deals DeAngelo has described Advance_CT as the Lamonts’ preferred vehicle for routing COVID business and high-level meetings, conveniently exempt from FOIA. This nonprofit structure allegedly allowed self-dealing and contract steering while evading sunlight. Swick has repeatedly tied such nonprofits into a broader “nonprofit-industrial complex” enabling elite capture in Connecticut. Why This Demands FBI Involvement and Forensic Audits — Now Connecticut has seen other Lamont-era scandals, including FBI probes into former officials like Kosta Diamantis for alleged no-bid contract steering, school construction fraud, and the State Pier fiasco. Yet the Lamonts themselves have faced zero comparable scrutiny on the Sema4/OAK pattern. The Office of State Ethics offered an opinion, not an investigation. The governor’s office issues denials and recusal lists. Taxpayers are left with unexamined windfalls, deleted records, and offshore vehicles. While Governor Ned Lamont publicly released his 2021 tax returns in October 2022, revealing an eye-popping $54 million in adjusted gross income, the vast majority from investment and capital gains, the public remains completely in the dark about First Lady Annie Lamont’s finances. Because the couple files separately (“Married Filing Separately”), Annie Lamont’s substantial earnings, distributions, and partnership income as co-founder and managing partner of OAK HC/FT Partners stay entirely shielded from disclosure. This convenient arrangement lets Ned project selective transparency while the full scope of the family’s wealth, and any potential profits tied to the very venture capital firm at the center of no-bid COVID contracts, offshore vehicles, and state-favor allegations, remains hidden from Connecticut taxpayers. This is not “gotcha” politics. It is a systemic failure of accountability that erodes trust in government. Every Connecticut family struggling with high taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and post-COVID economic fallout has a right to know whether public dollars were steered to enrich the First Family’s venture capital empire. The call is clear: * The FBI’s New Haven field office and U.S. Attorney must open a public corruption probe into potential wire fraud, honest-services fraud, and conflicts involving state contracts, the private server, and offshore flows. * The Connecticut State Auditor and Legislature must immediately subpoena the family server (or what remains), full OAK portfolio vs. state spending cross-checks, UConn Foundation investment records, and Advance_CT meeting logs. * Forensic IT recovery experts should examine the private server for deletions and backups. * All OAK HC/FT portfolio companies must be mapped against every state grant, loan, contract, or policy favor since 2019. Governor Lamont and Annie Lamont have every right to defend themselves in public, under oath, with full documentation. But the era of “trust us, we recused” and “no profits realized” is over. Connecticut cannot afford another decade of elite impunity. Taxpayers have funded enough. It is time for real sunlight and real consequences if the allegations hold. Contact your legislators, the Attorney General, and federal authorities today. Demand the FBI investigation and audits Connecticut deserves. The Lamont era of unaccountable power must end where every other public official’s does: at the rule of law. @FBIDirectorKash @FBINewHaven @DAGToddBlanche @AAGDhillon

Thoughts about Japan: Japan is so much more than Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. I love taking the train and staying in random cities with no expectations, places where travelers usually don’t go. On my first trip, around 12 years ago, I was backpacking and ended up in Numazu, a quiet coastal city with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. A friend and I went out to explore and found a small open restaurant, so we walked in. A nice lady greeted us with the usual “irasshaimase”, a warm welcome you hear when entering places in Japan, and guided us to our table. The menu was all in Japanese, so we pointed at dishes and ordered based on the images, having no clue what they tasted like. Part of the experience. We were their only customers, and I could see the surprise on her husband, the chef, seeing foreigners there. They wanted to talk to us, but the language barrier was too strong. Then suddenly, their young daughter, who had been studying us from afar, ran in, grabbed her mother’s phone, opened Google Translate, and the magic started. The barrier was gone. They were so curious about our trip that they even sat down and ate with us. I showed them photographs I had taken around Japan, they loved seeing their country through foreign eyes, the husband even said we had traveled Japan more than they had. Time passed, and we had to say goodbye. We stepped out, and out of nowhere, the young girl ran toward us and showed us the phone: “Where are you going next?” We showed her a shrine we were going to walk to. She told us to wait and ran back inside. Moments later, they closed the restaurant, brought the car around, and gestured for us to get in. The whole family joined. They drove us all the way to the shrine. Before we left, the husband pulled out the phone one last time: “You guys have a long journey ahead. It was a pleasure meeting you. Enjoy Japan.” These experiences are why I travel, and why I love photography. Thank you Japan.

"Everywhere" was written by Christine McVie during the chaotic sessions of Tango in the Night (1987). While the other members of Fleetwood Mac lived in hell (Lindsey and Stevie quarreling, Mick Fleetwood destroyed by illicit substances), she composed this happy music. The most joyful and pop track on the album was born in the midst of the greatest drama in the band's history. It became one of their biggest hits in the 80s!

The Plymouth Pilgrims accidentally ran the first documented socialist experiment in America three centuries before Marx scribbled his manifesto. Governor William Bradford's "common storehouse" system from 1620-1623 delivered textbook collectivist results: mass shirking, crop failures, and near-starvation. Bradford recorded the disaster in detail. Young men "complained that they were oppressed" when forced to work for others without reward. Productive colonists watched lazy neighbors receive equal rations despite contributing nothing. The system "was found to breed much confusion and discontent" because it violated basic human incentives. People starved while fertile Massachusetts soil lay underworked. The turnaround came swiftly in 1623 when Bradford abandoned the collective model and assigned private family plots. Production exploded overnight. Women and children voluntarily joined field work when their families directly benefited from extra effort. The same colonists who nearly died under socialism suddenly produced abundant harvests under private property. Bradford explicitly credited private ownership for saving Plymouth Colony. He documented how individual responsibility transformed human behavior within a single growing season. Individual effort cannot be separated from individual reward without destroying both. Every socialist experiment since Plymouth has repeated this identical pattern. Different century, different continent, same predictable collapse when planners ignore the reality of human nature. No matter what they call it, whenever and wherever collectivist ideas are put into practice, disaster soon follows.
