🚨🔥BREAKING: Referee Chief, Howard Webb agrees with the decision to disallow the equalizer scored against Arsenal by Westham United The West Ham striker’s contact with Raya is a clear foul, and the time the referees took to make the decision was due to the importance of the situation. Is it a foul on the goalkeeper? Absolutely, yes. We have said all season, including in pre-season briefings with players, that if a goalkeeper is impeded by an opponent grabbing or holding his arms, and therefore cannot do his job, it will be penalized. Raya was prevented from making a routine movement like catching the ball. The arm was wrapped around his neck, on his arm. He couldn’t raise his arms, and we made it clear that we would punish that. And we have been consistent in applying that exact action."

All these people shouting Nuhu Ribadu have been replaced, what will you now do if the President announces the elevation of Director of National Intelligence for proper coordination. Homeland Security is very distinctive to the Office of National Security Adviser, same with ODNI. The US has multiple intelligence coordinating leadership and each of them have distinctive roles. The SA Homeland Security is not the replacement of ONSA (@NuhuRibadu) who is doing a good job by the way, the president wants a quick action response, the Homeland will also look into our border issues which is not a direct purview of the ONSA. Above all, this is a welcome development and May Nigeria Succeed.

@29Havertz43802 Didn't think of points deduction or replay the match because from the look of decisions made in favour of @Arsenal during the season you will understand that some people within the @premierleague & the Referees may have made up their minds to crowned Arsenal as the champions.

@SundayDareSD @LNCtoday Nigeria already has a @DHQNigeria @MODInfoNg, @Official_ONSA, and now a Special Adviser on Homeland Security. At what point does coordination of coordination become the actual security threat? We’re not building capacity, we’re building organograms 😩😩😩

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERATION PRESS RELEASE *PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MAJOR GENERAL FADEWA (RTD) AS SPECIAL ADVISER ON HOMELAND SECURITY.* President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Major General Adeyinka A. Fadewa (Rtd) as Special Adviser on Homeland Security, in recognition of his exceptional record of service, strategic expertise, and outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s national security architecture. In a circular signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, CON, which was issued by the Permanent Secretary General Services Office, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, mni, the appointment underscores the commitment of the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to strengthening internal security coordination, enhancing intelligence-driven operations, and deepening inter-agency collaboration in addressing emerging security threats across the country. Major General Fadewa (Rtd) is a highly decorated retired General with over three decades of distinguished military and intelligence service spanning national security strategy, intelligence fusion, counter-terrorism operations, and international security diplomacy. His career reflects a rare blend of operational excellence, strategic foresight, and institutional leadership in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and national interests. As Principal General Staff Officer to the National Security Adviser at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) from 2015 to 2021, he played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s modern intelligence coordination framework. He spearheaded the establishment of the Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) at ONSA, creating an integrated multi-agency intelligence platform that brought together the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and the Armed Forces to improve national threat assessment and strategic response coordination. Following his retirement from active military service, Major General Fadewa (Rtd) served as Senior Research Fellow at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja, where he continued to provide strategic thought leadership on policing, civil-security cooperation, and national security reform. His scholarly contributions include the widely acclaimed monograph titled “Policing and National Security in Nigeria,” which offers practical frameworks for strengthening civil-security collaboration. President Tinubu expressed confidence that the appointment of Major General Fadewa (Rtd) will further enhance the administration’s efforts toward achieving a safer and more secure Nigeria through improved coordination of homeland security initiatives, intelligence integration, and proactive risk management. He also urged him to deploy his wealth of experience, professionalism, and strategic insight in advancing national security objectives and supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. @Afebu3 @Onsogbu Also the customer should be paid interest because his money must have been used to trade for 4 months while he was sick otherwise why will they guy not keep the 150 bags waiting for the customer come over to collect? Requesting customer to add more Money isn't a good decision.

While I agree he should give the customer the cement, the customer should pay for storage and other expenses. He is supposed to have collected the bags of cement immediately. He failed to and didn't communicate. Where did he expect the cement seller to keep his bags of cement? He should pay for warehousing and other expenses incurred for keeping the bags of cement.

I sell cement at the market here in Abeokuta. A customer came to pay for 150 bags of cement, collected receipt and disappeared for over 4 months. Yesterday, he came back with trucks to carry the cement. He said he had been seriously sick since the day after he made payment, that’s why he couldn’t come earlier. I explained to him that the price of cement has increased since then and he needs to add more money before carrying the goods. I even offered to refund the exact amount he paid back then if he’s not comfortable. Omo, the man got angry immediately He said he’s not adding any money and he’s not collecting refund. According to him, “na the cement wey I pay for I wan carry.” He even threatened to drag me legally next week. Before he drags me, that’s why I said I should ask if I’m really wrong because honestly, market price don go up and I no wan lose money o. Pls what do I do now I need your advice it seems this man wants to chêât me ?

Double standard by our security agencies, Politicians is the reason behind continuing killings in Plateau state. Just look at those being prosecuted on Rukuba killing their colleagues traders have to be innocent of the crime but because they are Muslims they must be sacrifices.
Zagazola@ZagazOlaMakama

OPINION: If Plateau’s Illegal Arms Factories Belonged to Fulani Militias, the World Would Be Burning By: Zagazola Makama The discovery of another illegal arms factory in Plateau State should have shaken the conscience of the nation. But it did not. Not because the development was insignificant, but because it did not fit the preferred narrative carefully marketed for years by crisis merchants, foreign lobbyists, and politically interested actors feeding off the Plateau conflict. Imagine for a moment if troops had uncovered three illegal arms factories operated by Fulani militias in their harmlet in Plateau within three weeks. Imagine if security forces had recovered fabricated AK-47 rifles, welding machines, recoiling springs, ammunition shells and weapon components from settlements associated with Fulani groups. By now, international media would be flooded with headlines screaming “genocide.” Foreign NGOs would issue emergency alerts. U.S. lawmakers would hold hearings. Social media activists would demand sanctions on Nigeria. Naked women and youths would occupy streets in Jos. Protesters would occupy the streets of Abuja, Washington and London. Religious organisations would organise prayer marches and global petitions. Every recovered rifle would become proof of an alleged grand conspiracy to wipe out Christians. But reality can be inconvenient. Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) raided illegal arms manufacturing sites in Vom, Jos South LGA, and arrested five suspects linked to Berom militia networks. Recovered from the factories were fabricated AK-47 rifles, weapon skeletons, revolver components, magazines, welding machines and industrial tools used for weapon production. This was not a rumour. This was not social media speculation. These were physical weapons recovered by troops during a live operation. Yet the silence has been deafening. No outrage from the usual activists. No emergency press conferences. No sermons condemning the proliferation of illegal arms within Plateau communities. No viral hashtags. No candlelight protests. No foreign NGO reports warning about ethnic militias manufacturing weapons. The same voices that quickly amplify every allegation against Fulani groups suddenly developed selective blindness. This is the uncomfortable truth many do not want discussed openly: Plateau’s crisis is no longer a simplistic black-and-white story of innocent victims versus faceless attackers. Armed militias exist on multiple sides of the conflict. Weapons are being manufactured locally. Revenge attacks are organised. Narratives are weaponised. Communities arm themselves while simultaneously presenting themselves exclusively as helpless victims before the national and international audience. And that is exactly why the crisis has persisted for decades. The dangerous part is not merely the weapons themselves. The dangerous part is the ecosystem protecting the narrative. An ecosystem where facts are filtered through ethnicity and religion before they are accepted. An ecosystem where the deaths of some victims generate global outrage while the deaths of others barely earn a mention. An ecosystem where propaganda travels faster than truth. Over the past months, security operations in Plateau have exposed repeated evidence of armed local militias, reprisal cells, illegal weapon possession, and coordinated attacks hidden beneath carefully crafted emotional narratives. Troops have recovered weapons from local youths. Active shooters were seen in viral videos previously circulated as evidence of “attacks.” Security personnel have repeatedly intervened to stop reprisals between communities. Yet these realities rarely make international reports because they complicate the preferred storyline.

Gombe is my second home, and it has a history of electing good governors. Unfortunately, Governor Inuwa Yahya has chosen Isyaku Gwamna, who is said to have been involved in the mismanagement of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company when he was MD, over an academic and successful politician, Prof. Ali Pantami, a former minister. The same way some people believe he performed poorly while serving as MD of KEDCO, critics argue that he may not be suitable for governor in Gombe State. The state deserves better, and the likes of Prof. Pantami should rule the state.

Pantami has now lost that golden opportunity as well. A few days ago in Abuja, someone from the opposition an individual with a strong understanding of politics told me that Pantami would not be given the chance to serve. This is despite the fact that many of us recognize that he has what it takes not only to transform Gombe, but also to make it a model of development. According to him, Pantami is more than qualified to lead the state, but Nigeria may not yet be ready for leadership of his kind. The only reason, he added, is that Pantami is not an active politician.
