@MRGMALLOY Very affordable or even free or discounted as part of job benefits. My gym weekly membership is equal to 2 pints of beer. I can bring a friend between 9 to 5. Open 24/7. So after nightshift, day shift or midnight

Australian cost of living prices are basically an inflation test of how much can we charge people? “Make the chocolate bars 5 bucks mate” “But sir, who will buy them?” Australians 😎🇦🇺

@EwanRewild @chinafutureclub Ist time in the UK, petrol prices went up by 10p and truck drivers blockaded the road in protest. I was in shock, but made me realise how powerful the Pound was. A 1p increase is probaly equivalent to a couple of dollars in other countries.

@chinafutureclub Same with UK honestly. Things go up during some crisis but never come back down once they realise people still pay. How the fuck has a bar of chocolate somehow shrunk to half it's size and gone up from 50p to £1.20 in under a decade. Or a croissant from 80p to £.120 in 4 years

The Zimbabwean accent in a foreign land is almost a class signal. Lose it and you may get better service. Keep it and you get assumptions. Some of us code-switch without thinking. That adaptation is survival, not shame. Answer yourself honestly. Do you modify your accent or how you present yourself to avoid being identified as Zimbabwean in a foreign land? I say, there is a dignity question buried deep in the accent conversation. The day you stop changing your voice is the day you decide your origin is not something to manage. Most of us haven't reached that day yet.

sir_wicknell.@wicknellchivayo

MWARI MUMWE CHETE SE ZUVA…….🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Today, I wish to celebrate a young man who has set himself apart in the WORD of GOD. A young man who has chosen to walk in the FOOTSTEPS of his father, and who is evidently ANOINTED in the prophetic. In a time where most YOUTH have given themselves unto the distractions of this world and indulging in drug and substance abuse, it is REFRESHING to see a son who has chosen to remain disciplined and spread the WORD OF GOD to all Nations. Just like the biblical ELISHA, who picked up the mantle of his father ELIJAH, today I wish to recognize WALTER MAGAYA JUNIOR. I was VERY IMPRESSED by how you carried yourself during the crossover night from 31 December 2025 into the new year, standing in for your father PROPHET WALTER MAGAYA. Your calm CONFIDENCE and the clarity in your message of RENEWED HOPE in CHRIST was packed with meaning and DEEP REVELATION. You may be young in AGE, but certainly very MATURED in the spirit. Your IMPACT has also gone beyond Zimbabwe, with believers in different countries that you have travelled receiving you in their THOUSANDS. From the way people gather and FOLLOW your teachings, it is evident that what started with your FATHER is finding its way through you !!! That kind of continuity is not common, and it speaks volumes about the foundation and MENTORSHIP imparted by Prophet Magaya unto you at PHD Ministries. I say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you, our young MAN OF GOD. Please go and see Victor on Friday at Exquisite Car Dealership and collect your brand new 2026 LEXUS GX550 fully paid for and ready for COLLECTION. In addition, you will receive US$50,000 💵 as a small but SINCERE token to support the CHURCH’S work and the continued growth of PHD Ministries. May God continue to BLESS you and INCREASE your territory. I pray that what is upon your father be even GREATER upon your life as you continue to impact both the YOUNG and the OLD with Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance. 🙏🏽🙏🙏 #PWM #Walter_Magaya_Jr #PHD_Ministries #Inheriting_The_Gospel #Youth_In_Ministry #Say_No_To_Drugs

AFRICAN MEN: THEIR OBSESSION WITH EUROPEAN FOOTBALL This post isn't to say people shouldn't watch sports, to be more specific football. But it's to condemn the unhealthy obsession many African men have with football To be more precise European football, it would be least embarrassing if they were obsessed with their own football leagues Fooball is great as entertainment, it should remain that. No man with a fulfilling life should have his mood ruined by other men losing at something they are paid for If you observe, the average African man invests more emotion into European football than he invests in his own country's state of affairs or continent's state They'll be more angry at a player for changing a club, getting injured, failing to score etc than they'll be at their local politicians who steal their taxes and loot their resources They'll know a player's stats and historiy more than they know their local politicians stats or history. They'll analyse patterns of football teams more than they analyse their own lives Do you honestly think a man who is in control of his life and doing well in life will have time to be affected his mood because of football or any other sport? You're a loser if you spend much of your time watching other men make money and even get affected by it, whilst you're not doing anything productive with your life Find purpose, stop masking a lack of direction with being a football fanatic

I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

Starlink has done more than any NGO to lift people out of poverty by connecting them with a means of education and a market for their good & services via the Internet
X Freeze@XFreeze

Most people have not even realized it yet, but Starlink just quietly became the invisible backbone of Earth For decades, high-speed internet was a luxury of geography. If you lived outside a major city or dared to travel, you had no choice but to be disconnected from the world We literally went from "can you hear me now?" dropped calls in the suburbs to you move anywhere in the world and you are covered by Starlink internet Just look at what SpaceX has achieved so far: → Free, high-speed WiFi rolling out on thousands of flights, trains, and ships → Now officially live in over 150+ countries, territories, and global markets → Direct-to-Cell tech is turning standard smartphones into sat-phones with zero extra hardware → Flawless high-speed internet streaming in the middle of Antarctica → Serving as a critical lifeline for first responders and victims during major natural disasters → Providing unbreakable comms in active warzones and geopolitical conflicts → More than 11 MILLION+ active subscribers globally as of early 2026 → Eliminating dead zones entirely - if you can see the sky, you can connect "I think the single biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty and help them is giving them an internet connection because once you have the internet connection, you can learn anything for free on the internet, and you can also sell your goods and services to the global market" — Elon Musk While legacy telecom providers are still struggling to lay cables in the dirt, SpaceX is actively building humanity’s collective nervous system in Low Earth Orbit SpaceX is showing the world what it actually means to be connected on a magnitude we never thought possible
