Pierre Poilievre’s complete silence on the UCP and their blatant support for the Alberta separatist movement is the most obvious example of why he is simply not Prime Minister material. A true national leader doesn't stay quiet when it comes to defending Canada's unity. #abpoli

@DeanHorninaq I love how you cunts exaggerate how many of you there are. We’re talking about 300 hundred thousand, mostly forged signatures. Lots of you separatist con artists are going to jail, and the rest should be taxed into fucking oblivion.

The mess in Alberta is outrageous. If this isn’t treason, nothing is. The more we learn, the worse it gets. Lock them all the fuck up. I’ll have more to say about this soon.

Happy Victoria Day, Canada. Grills are firing up, lakes are opening, cottages are waking back up, and for many Canadians, it feels like the long weekend that marks the beginning of summer. Victoria Day reminds us of the history that shaped our country. It honours Queen Victoria, the monarch who gave royal assent to the British North America Act. For me it also honours our ancient English liberties that run from the 13th-century Magna Carta to present day Parliamentary accountability. The Poilievre family hopes you are making sand castles, climbing monkey bars, and eating too much BBQ.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon brought dignity, wisdom, and compassion to the role of Governor General at a time when Canada needed steady leadership and reflection. As the first Indigenous person to serve as Governor General, she helped our country move forward with greater honesty about our past and greater hope for our future. She carried the stories, strength, and perspectives of Inuit communities into Rideau Hall and into the heart of our national conversations. Over these years, Canadians saw a leader who listened deeply, served humbly, and reminded us that reconciliation is not a destination, but a responsibility. To me, you were a source of deep wisdom, an insightful, compassionate elder, and a good friend. As was Whit. Thank you, Mary, for your service to Canada and for helping shape a more inclusive and compassionate country for generations to come. Nakurmiik, Ningiukudluk.

Yes. He did well. Some are being mean to him because of his name which is worse than a kid getting opportunities because of his name. Xavier did his best. And took a bigger risk, by going out there and doing it, than his haters.

Thomas Lukaszuk on Danielle Smith calling Alberta judge's decision 'undemocratic': "Courts rule on what is right and what is wrong and what is lawful and what is illegal. They don't render popular decisions. They render righteous decisions. But the Premier doesn't seem to be concerned about that."

Arlene is entitled to her opinion, but accusing elected leaders of separatism without evidence only deepens division. Alberta needs less political theatre and more serious discussion about affordability, energy, investment, national unity, and why so many western Canadians feel unheard.
Scott Robertson@sarobertson_

Arlene Dickinson on Danielle Smith: "I find it difficult to believe that she is not trying to push a separatist agenda and if she isn't then she's doing a really poor job of governing and showing people what she really cares about."

@globeandmail Canada should annex Alberta, shut down referendums and elections and protect democracy. These extremist Albertans thinking they can ask for fair representation is getting out of control.

Ignoring the Canadian Census isn’t harmless. It shortchanges your own community. When people don’t respond, Stats Can undercounts your area, and that translates into lost funding, fewer services, and weaker representation. You’re essentially kneecapping your own neighbourhood.

@acoyne Ndp members were there as well. As a conservative I want answers. I believe there should be an inquiry. I do however question the motives of the NDP. Why didn’t they tell the gov? Isn’t it the responsibility of all member s to have the best interests of their constituents!?

Reducing your community’s weight in Parliament to own the Libs 🤔 Pro tip: the Prime Minister will never see your note. Canada has been conducting a census since 1867 regardless of the party in office. Every country on Earth does a census. By boycotting the Census, you’re not striking a blow for freedom or privacy. You’re reducing the population weight of your area when Parliamentary seats are allocated. Not smart.
