@Splott_D@SY_Supertram They may be old but still so their jobs. There's also no room in Nunnery Depot in for more trams. There are plans to replace the trams in the distant future. In the shorter term, refurbishment has been put to tenders. Our system is very unique and has requirements
@Splott_D@SY_Supertram If you knew anything about our network, you'd know how difficult procuring new trams would be. We have steep gradients and the trams need to be powerful. The Siemens trams are infinitely more comfortable than the m5000s on metrolink, the citylinks and most other British trams.1/2

@SY_Supertram any updates on the 0742 departure from peaks bound for city? Service is 10 minutes late, you only bother to run 3 trams an hour the least have do is have them run on time

@StagecoachYrks Today's 120 Journey was 10 minutes late, full and with a driver who was rude to people getting on the bus that was 9 minutes late at the time. Why this is considered acceptable is completely appalling. You can see the bus reg, fleet number and the time it was at.
@MadinRichard@SY_Supertram Supertram isn't dead. Stagecoach has just lost the contract and Travel South Yorkshire is taking it over instead, I believe.

@DKessen@SCSupertram They won't say but a driver ran a red light and hit a tram. The lights changed when the driver used the VIS Ready button and the driver probably assumed they could make it. It was a duewag so the driver is safe and the tram sustained minimal damage.
