🪡THE ORIGIN STORY
The HSuite team built their wallet out of frustration. 80% of their customer support tickets were caused by third-party wallet connection issues, not their own product. When Hedera released batch transactions on mainnet (something they'd waited years for), they discovered it was backend-only and incompatible with wallets at the time. That was the final straw that pushed them to build their own solution.
🪡THE NEW CONNECTION PROTOCOL
Rather than relying on Wallet Connect's relay system, HSuite built their own peer-to-peer protocol. The relay is only used for device discovery, then communication goes direct device-to-device. The result is near-instant transaction signing. No lag, no dropped sessions.
🪡KEY WALLET FEATURES
🔹 Multi-sig built in that works just like a normal wallet. One person is the "pilot" connecting to dApps, others are co-signers, all communicating over the same fast P2P protocol.
🔹 2FA with granularity. You can require 2FA only for specific tokens, NFT collections, or large transactions, not every single action.
🔹 Biometric support. Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, all without going through an App Store.
🔹 Magic Bundle. Encrypts your entire wallet setup (accounts, contacts, multi-sig config, settings) into one password-protected file for easy migration between devices.
🔹 NFT Gallery. Supports 3D, video, and all media types.
🔹 Wallet Connect compatibility. Supports both their native protocol AND Wallet Connect, so no developer needs to change their existing code.
🪡SMART ENGINES V3
This is their bigger, longer-term product. Think of it as a composable rules engine for wallets, you can stack rules like building blocks (cells → molecules → organisms) to create complex wallet behaviors. Examples include scheduling outgoing transactions only on certain days, setting spending limits, or configuring a wallet to behave like a launchpad with just two lines of code. V3 will be Hedera and XRPL compatible from day one, with two additional unnamed ledgers already in development.
🪡CURRENT STATUS & ROADMAP
🔹 Wallet audit started with CertiK, expected to take ~2 weeks (early March completion target).
🔹 ~100 whitelist beta testers currently using a standalone version.
🔹 After the wallet audit, a separate audit for Smart Engines V3 begins (estimated months due to its complexity).
🔹 To fund the V3 audit and establish XRPL presence, they're planning an NFT sale on XRPL with token allocations and airdrops. They're also exploring XRPL grants and were encouraged to enter the XRP Vegas pitch contest in late April.
🪡THE PHILOSOPHY
The team emphasized they don't see other wallets as competition. Their wallet even supports Wallet Connect so HashPack and Kabila users can still interact with H Suite's dApp. The goal is to be complementary, not exclusive. The project has been community-funded from day one, which the community spokesperson Shueyb highlighted as a rare and powerful thing in the blockchain space.

This isn’t a team that showed up when the hype was loud. They’ve been heads down, building through the frustrations and setbacks, community funded from day one, no outside investor pressure, no cutting corners, just pure conviction.
