@lexercise_ "obesity" as BMI defines it is not inherently dangerous, people have bodies built different shapes and there are Olympic athletes who are technically, by BMI, obese. Are there v. fat people who are unhealthy? 100% but they usually have other indicators of poor health.

Important, I suddenly realised, there is an issue with forthcoming Candidates. According to FIDE regulations, seemingly Abdusattorov must replace Nakamura, based on following articles of FIDE official regulations: 1. Qualification place (rating) goes to a player with highest average rating from February 2025 to January 2026, but if he performed 40 rated games minimum. In case he didn't, the next by rating substitutes him (Caruana) unless he didn't qualify otherwise. He did. In such case this rating spot belongs to 2nd place from FIDE tour, it is Nodirbek Abdusattorov. 2. Any tournament with players 2700+ must be registered at least 30 days before start to be rated by FIDE. Based on open source information, Maritime open wasn't. That means the tournament shouldn't be counted for rating, unless, in accordance with FIDE regulations, it wasn't decided otherwise by FIDE President. This is the reason Karjakin was excluded from the list this month, exactly because of this regulation. Therefore, if sticking to law, unless FIDE President personally signed this permission to count Maritime open before it was counted (I doubt), it can't be counted for rating, says clear article of FIDE regulations. 3. In such case farmer Nakamura lacking enough games to qualify for Candidates, and can go farm further in US fields, while Abdusattorov (who deserves ten times more anyways), must be in, based on FIDE Regulations. So whether Mr. Dvorkovich presents signed in October formal permission to count for rating Maritime open ( and maybe explain reasons for that), or Abdusattorov have legal rights to participate in forthconing Candidates tournament, as I understand That's what I found @FIDE_chess provide comments on this please

How is it even possible that the @Esplaycom airport masters with 14 teams playing, that the group stage are not covered by HLTV yet the Parken challenge straight after with only 12 teams not only gets coverage of the group stages but also has 2 groups of 6. So they get 5VRS games

ISSAA probably deserved a better career. He was a genuinely strong player, especially with HellRaisers. Making it to that level from Jordan, and more broadly from a region with limited structure and constant ping issues, makes his journey all the more remarkable.

People arguing this are absurd. In the 90s and before, this wasn’t an issue. The best players played every game. That’s not today’s NBA - the league had to implement a game minimum because of load management. Like it or not, it’s needed for the integrity of the awards. Telling players to compete in 80% or more of reg season shouldn’t be difficult. If it is, then no award. Accept and move on.

If he misses All-NBA for games played the NBA needs to change that 65 game rule asap.

So ppl are upset about Vol 2 here's my take Ppl really dont understand shows. While I don't really care for the gay stuff much in my shows it all depends on how it was handled and written. Even then it doesn't really matter because this has been pushed so much in media and so poorly at times that when it's done good it doesn't matter , this was done for Will to be free of Vecna by overcoming his fears…being gay was his one fear and its ok as thats why most gay man stay in the closet thinking no one will accept them but the equation could have been way better and plus they did this already with Robin and it was way better so the fact that it took them 12 hours for this one scene near the end of the series is not a good look I hope that really stick the landing.

For me, @Stranger_Things Season5 just proves how braindead viewers have become (or they are just rage baiting for views on X) 1. Will being gay has been a part of the show since Season 1. Was literally the first thing mentioned between Joyce and Hopper at the police station and has been something Will has been coming to terms with the entire show. His powers have nothing to do with him being gay. But coming out in the 80s was not an easy thing to do and Vecna latches on to YOUR WORST FEAR to control you. Or maybe you all skipped the 4 kids he killed in season 4? You know that whole thing with the grandfather clock? 🤯 Robin also had a whole conversation about it with Steve to give “coming out” context. If Steve asks out a girl, no big deal. But if Robin asks out “the wrong” girl… not the same. So Will coming out should have been something you all expected to see if you have actually been paying attention. It wasnt woke, it wasnt an agenda. It was just part of the story. Gay kids existed in the 80s, not a big deal and for the final battle Will needed to overcome his worst fear to stand a chance against Vecna. 2. Now for the people saying they “retconned” the Upside-down. Did you all just close your eyes when they finally revealed the battle between Eleven and Henry? She blasted him to a different planet that looked NOTHING like Hawkins and Henry says in that place he “became an explorer”. That’s how he found the Mind Flayer. How were you not wondering this whole time where he was? The planet was bright with lightning everywhere. Clearly not the Upside-down. 3. Nancy & Jonathan breakup scene. “Will you unmarry me” was a pretty clear acceptance of a break-up. Tossing the ring should have been an indicator to you as well. Was obvious in Season4 they were drifting apart and the “shared trauma” was the only thing holding them together. In the words of the great Mr. Witwicky “HA! How long you gonna ride that scooter?” Now all at being said: ✅ Yes #8 is annoying AF. ✅ I also thought Maxx was blind. ✅ How did Argyle leave the quarantine? ✅ Nobody cared to check on Mr. Wheeler in the hospital after demodog attack? ✅ Scott Clarke FINALLY being let in on the story was awesome. With 1 episode left I am not sure how they are going to button up all the storylines. But saying Season5 is “bad” is just not true.
