@WhiteBabyFac 16 is young in today's society because women want an education. This also better complements her future spouse in most cases. Of course, there are exceptions.

Traditionally it was socially acceptable for a 16 year old woman to marry a man who was 10-15 years older than her. Many people in modern times consider this immoral, and it's illegal in many states and western countries. I would much rather have my daughter marry a mature man when she's 16 and start her family young, rather than have a string of boyfriends (or worse) until she finally gets married at 30-40 and has 1-2 kids if she's lucky - which is the new normal for women. Do you side with tradition or modern thinking on this issue?

To illustrate the total absurdity of Justice Jackson, she ruled last year that states *do not* have the right to ban child sex changes, but ruled today that states *do* have the right to ban counselors from telling boys they are not girls.

@chicagobulls message: It's not okay to be Christian
Reverend Jordan Wells@WellsJorda89710

🚨 BREAKING: Chicago Bulls waive young guard Jaden Ivey after he preached Jesus Christ and called out the NBA’s celebration of Pride Month. Head Coach Billy Donovan said Ivey didn’t “live up to certain organizational standards.” The team’s official statement claimed his “conduct was detrimental to the team.” Translation from the Chicago Bulls: Preaching the Gospel and saying sin is sin makes you a problem. Jaden Ivey — a vocal Christian who was recently baptized and has boldly shared his faith in Jesus — went on Instagram Live speaking truth about Scripture, unrighteousness, and the NBA pushing LGBTQ ideology during Pride Month. His message? The world (and the league) celebrates what the Bible calls sin. He’s preaching repentance and Christ. For that, they cut him after just a handful of games. The Chicago Bulls have made it crystal clear: They do not support Christians who actually live and speak their faith when it conflicts with the rainbow agenda. You can bow to BLM, promote Pride, stay silent on sin — that’s fine. But open your mouth about Jesus and biblical truth? “Detrimental.” This is the new standard in the NBA: Christian athletes are welcome… as long as they keep quiet about the parts of Scripture the league dislikes. Ivey’s response: “All I’m preaching about is Jesus Christ and they waived me.” The message to every believing player is loud and clear — conform or be gone. Stand with Jaden Ivey for having the courage to speak truth in a league that demands silence. Share if you believe faith in Christ shouldn’t get you fired. #JusticeForIvey #BullsExposed #ChristianAthletes #PreachJesus

@Joseph_Spurgeon Q: Which Apostle taught this religion that you preach after receiving the Word, Jesus Christ? A: None of them. When you interpret Scripture, you must take into account the entire canon, plus what tradition has been handed to you: 2 Thessalonians 2:15 NOT what you've edited.

Joseph Spurgeon
Joseph Spurgeon@Joseph_Spurgeon·
Roman Catholics never seem to understand the doctrine of sola scriptura. Sola scriptura is not the belief that Holy Scripture is the only authority, nor that an individual can infallibly interpret the Scriptures. Rather, it is the doctrine that Holy Scripture is the only infallible authority and therefore has supreme authority over the church. It is not the only authority. The church has real authority, along with other forms of authority in the Christian life. Those who hold to sola scriptura also maintain that Scripture is to be understood within the life of the church. It was given to the church. It guards and defines the boundaries of the church. It shapes the life of the church. The church receives it, interprets it, and works through it, not as a single infallible institution, but as a body that is accountable to the Word. A central problem in Roman Catholic argumentation is their equivocation on the word infallible. They blur the distinction between infallible and inerrant, and then build an entire doctrine on that confusion. Infallible means unable to err by nature. It is not merely that something happens to be correct in a given instance. It means it cannot be wrong. Holy Scripture is infallible because it is the very Word of God. God cannot err, and therefore His Word cannot err. Everything Scripture says carries full authority because it is true without any possibility of error. Human beings, however, can make inerrant statements without being infallible. “Jesus Christ is the Messiah” is an inerrant statement. “My name is Joseph Spurgeon” is an inerrant statement. Even something like the table of contents of Scripture can be correct. The church can recognize the canon without error. But none of that makes the church infallible. It simply means that, at times, it has spoken truly. Infallibility is not something that comes and goes. It is not something that appears in rare moments and then disappears. If a person or institution is infallible, that is a property of what they are, not a temporary condition they enter into under certain circumstances. That is exactly where the Roman doctrine of papal infallibility breaks down. It claims the Pope is infallible only in specific moments, under carefully defined conditions. That is not infallibility. That is a redefinition of the term to protect a doctrine that cannot stand on its own. And historically, this was not some universally held belief quietly passed down from the apostles. In the Middle Ages, the Franciscans, particularly in their disputes over poverty, began pressing arguments that would effectively bind the Pope to prior authoritative statements. They were attempting to lock in earlier papal rulings so that a later pope could not overturn them. In response, Pope John XXII rejected those claims outright. He saw exactly what was happening. To grant that kind of infallibility would place the pope in submission to prior declarations in a way that undermined his own authority. He resisted it, and the idea was not accepted as settled doctrine at the time. Only much later, under very different pressures, was papal infallibility formally defined at the First Vatican Council in 1870. It was not the clear, consistent teaching of the church through the ages. It was a deformation, argued for, resisted, and finally imposed. Sola scriptura cuts through all of this confusion. It locates infallibility where it actually belongs, in the Word of God. Scripture alone cannot err. Scripture alone carries absolute authority. The church has real authority, but it is always a derived and accountable authority. It can speak truly, but it is never incapable of error. Everything must be judged by the Word of God, because only the Word of God is infallible.

🚨 WATCH: I told my Democrat colleagues the truth about abortion— how half of abortions in Ohio last year were performed on black women and how an estimated 20 million black babies have been killed in the womb since Roe v. Wade. They hated hearing the truth so much that they ridiculously accused me of violating "all the rules" of the Ohio House. But I will not shut up about the genocide of the unborn in my community.

"11 million" is an insult to our intelligence. They've been using that statistic for 25 years. It's more than 50 million. Article: Frequently Requested Statistics on Immigration: migrationpolicy.org

11 million. That’s the official US government estimate for illegals in America. Yes, that’s true. It’s absurd. It’s an insult to our intelligence. The Biden Administration let in more than 11 million alone. If you had to guess how many illegals are in America?

Did you know? Every time the priest prays the Roman Canon at Mass, he mentions these seven courageous women saints by name, right alongside the Apostles and early martyrs. They have been invoked in the Eucharist for over 1,400 years: 1️⃣ St. Felicity and St. Perpetua Felicity was a pregnant slave in Carthage (modern Tunisia). Along with her mistress Perpetua, a young noblewoman and mother, they refused to renounce Christ. Felicity gave birth in prison just days before their martyrdom in 203 AD. They were thrown to wild beasts and then killed by the sword. Their powerful “Passion” account, partly written by Perpetua herself, is one of the earliest Christian writings by a woman. 2️⃣ St. Agatha A beautiful noblewoman from Sicily, Agatha consecrated her virginity to Christ. When she rejected the advances of a Roman official, she suffered brutal tortures including the cutting off of her breasts. She died in prison around 251 AD while praying. She is a powerful patron against volcanic eruptions and for breast cancer patients. 3️⃣ St. Lucy (Lucia) From Syracuse, Sicily, Lucy was a young virgin who gave away her dowry to the poor. Betrayed by a suitor, she was sentenced to a brothel but miraculously could not be moved. She was tortured and finally killed around 304 AD. Her name means “light,” and she is the patron of the blind and those with eye problems. 4️⃣ St. Agnes Only about 12 or 13 years old, this Roman girl refused to marry a pagan and declared herself a bride of Christ. She was condemned to a brothel but protected by a miracle, then beheaded. Her name means “lamb” in Latin, and she is one of the most beloved virgin martyrs and patron of purity and chastity. 5️⃣ St. Cecilia A noble Roman virgin who was forced into marriage but converted her husband and brother-in-law to Christianity. She was martyred around 230 AD, first suffocated in steam, then beheaded. Famous for “singing” hymns to God in her heart even during torture, she is the patroness of music, musicians, and singers. 6️⃣ St. Anastasia A generous Christian widow from Rome (or possibly Sirmium), known for her charity and care for prisoners. She suffered imprisonment and was martyred by burning during the Diocletian persecution around 304 AD. Several early churches in Rome were dedicated to her. Why are they included in the Canon? These women represent the complete witness of the early Church, from different social classes (noble and slave), different regions (Rome, Sicily, North Africa), and different states in life (virgins and mothers). By naming them alongside the Apostles and male martyrs, the Church shows that holiness and martyrdom are for everyone. Their inclusion, which dates back to at least the time of St. Gregory the Great (6th–7th century), reminds us that the Blood of Christ unites all the faithful, men and women alike, in the one Body of Christ. Next time you hear their names, let’s pray: Holy Martyrs of the Canon, Felicity, Perpetua, Agatha, Lucy, Agnes, Cecilia, and Anastasia, pray for us! That we may have your courage, your purity, and your total love for Jesus.
