@MoiDawg I feel like that’s basically what they are saying. They liked the visual output but after input from the audience, game developers, and other members of the team a lot of that shine wore off. Both upscaling and frame generation have had similar situations.

Crazy to think Super Metroid is 32 years old today, still stands the test of time as one of the best 16bit games ever made!

Unfortunately I don't have 8 hours to spare just for something to become fun eventually, I will try it next year. Just too much choice and backlog currently to be invested in something that asks too much of my time

CRIMSON DESERT starts rough. I honestly disliked the first 8 hrs. Once it opens up and you get more power + abilities, it's a TON of fun. So many gameplay systems but they don't feel cynical or half-baked. I wish there was a better story but combat/exploration hooked me 1/2

@IntrudeN313 I just get a feeling it's the start of normalisation for this. It's going to have a long term effect on genuine creativity going forward in a negative way i think

@heaaaps I saw in the meantime that Nvidia has said the game devs will be able to tweak the effect to their own liking, so maybe this will be less of an issue for some people if the artistic control by the devs can be assured.
