Jordan Kitna Named Storm QB Coach. Jordan Kitna is a former college football quarterback and current coach, best known as the son of longtime NFL quarterback Jon Kitna (who played for teams like the Seahawks, Bengals, Lions, Cowboys, and won the 2003 Comeback Player of the Year award). Jordan played quarterback at several levels: • He was a high school standout at Waxahachie High School in Texas, where he put up strong numbers (e.g., over 1,900 yards and 20 TDs in a partial season as a senior). • He initially committed as a preferred walk-on to TCU (Texas Christian University) around 2016, redshirted his freshman year, but didn’t see significant playing time there. • He later transferred to Colorado State University-Pueblo (a Division II program), where he played and graduated in 2021. • Earlier in his recruiting process, there were reports of interest from places like Michigan State (as a walk-on prospect around 2015-2016), but his main college career unfolded at TCU and then CSU-Pueblo. After his playing days, Jordan transitioned into coaching and training: • He co-founded QB Qorral (a quarterback training program/business) alongside his father Jon Kitna, where they work with quarterbacks of various ages and levels. • He has served in coaching roles at the high school level, including as Offensive & Recruiting Coordinator at Lakota East High School (in Ohio, where his father Jon is/was the head coach). • As of early 2026, he was hired as the Quarterback Coach for the Orlando Storm in the United Football League (UFL), marking his first professional coaching opportunity. This was announced recently, with excitement from both him and the team. On a personal note, his social media (Instagram @jkit3 and X @Jordan_kitna3) reflects his faith (e.g., referencing Isaiah 6:8), family life (he’s married, with a baby on the way in summer 2026), and ongoing involvement in football.
