What Obi has done here is to try to trick supporters of Pastor Adeboye by positioning himself as being the adult in the room with respect to his supporters. A case of attack Adeboye then I come out in his defence hoping to deceive the gullible. Obi is an ethnic irredentist! He has an ibo agenda he wants to fulfill at Aso Rock. Don't let him deceive you! What Wole Soyinka said was true. He knows what his supporters do and give them go ahead!

Dear Young Nigerians, One lesson from the 2023 elections, particularly in Lagos, should never be forgotten. In the period following the presidential election and leading up to the governorship election, we witnessed a troubling shift in public discourse. Conversations that should have focused on competence, governance, development, and the future of our nation were gradually diverted towards tribal sentiments, ethnic divisions, and unnecessary suspicion among citizens. Many sincere and well-meaning Nigerians participated in these conversations without realising that they were being drawn into narratives carefully designed by others. Throughout history, whenever politicians find it difficult to compete on ideas, performance, character, or vision, some resort to exploiting the fault lines of ethnicity, religion, and identity. Their calculation is simple: a divided people are easier to manipulate than a united people. Today, I see similar efforts emerging again, sometimes in more subtle and sophisticated ways. Narratives are planted, amplified, and circulated, often by individuals who genuinely believe they are defending a worthy cause, without recognizing the broader agenda behind such campaigns. Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation. For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace. At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them. The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. It is their duty to lead the conversations, champion the reforms, and drive the positive change our nation urgently requires. We must be careful not to become instruments in the hands of those who secretly nurture division while publicly preaching unity. In most cases, their target is not the individual being attacked; instead, it is the person who is attacking. Their real objective is to weaken the bonds that hold us together as one people and one nation. I therefore urge all young Nigerians: do not allow anyone to recruit you into hatred. Do not allow anyone to weaponise your ethnicity, your faith, or your admiration for respected leaders. Question every narrative. Verify every claim. Follow the facts. Resist manipulation. The Nigeria of our dreams can only be built by citizens who refuse to be divided, who choose unity over hatred, and who place our collective future above narrow interests. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@Lewa_Forbes_ You see that “he doesn’t want to offend the north” has been regurgitated several times to become the truth . It is always the easiest excuse to blame BAT that wasn’t in power for what happened between 2015 to 2023.

Peter Obi is grossly unfit to rule Nigeria. Peter Obi's political record remains open to scrutiny. For many critics, his most significant public-service experience is his eight years as Governor of Anambra State, and they argue that his achievements during that period did not match the expectations that now surround his presidential ambitions. Critics also point to allegations that public funds were deposited in a bank in which he reportedly had a personal interest. They argue that such an arrangement raises concerns about conflict of interest and ethical governance. Questions have also been raised about his financial investments. Critics contend that a substantial portion of his wealth is held abroad rather than invested within Nigeria's economy. They argue that capital on that scale could be deployed locally through investments, businesses, or industries that create jobs and stimulate economic growth. Peter Obi frequently speaks about production over consumption, yet critics argue that his business background was largely built on trading and importing goods. They contend that this model contributed more to consumption than to domestic manufacturing or industrial development. As a result, they question whether his economic philosophy aligns with his own business history. Some also argue that if more of his wealth were invested in Nigeria, particularly in Anambra State, it could contribute to job creation, entrepreneurship, and economic development for local communities. Another criticism concerns his response to insecurity in the South-East. Critics claim that he has not spoken forcefully enough about kidnappings, killings, and violence in the region. They argue that he has been more vocal about tragedies occurring elsewhere while appearing relatively restrained when addressing issues affecting his own region. To them, this creates an impression of inconsistency and sectional politics. Critics further maintain that Peter Obi has not presented sufficiently detailed or practical solutions to Nigeria's complex challenges. They argue that his public discussions often rely heavily on examples from countries such as China, Bangladesh, and Egypt without adequately explaining how similar policies could be adapted to Nigeria's unique realities. Supporters frequently highlight Obi's reputation for prudence and accountability. However, critics remain unconvinced and continue to ask for specific examples of transformative achievements, innovative policies, and measurable outcomes that demonstrate his readiness for national leadership. Many Nigerians already know the strengths and weaknesses of . The question critics pose is: What are Peter Obi's strongest achievements, most compelling policy ideas, and proven solutions? They argue that, beyond campaign slogans and rhetoric, there is insufficient evidence that he possesses the vision, experience, or practical strategies required to govern a country as complex as Nigeria. For these reasons, critics conclude that Peter Obi is not the right person to lead Nigeria. They argue that his political track record, leadership style, and policy proposals do not inspire confidence in his ability to effectively manage the nation's economic, security, and political challenges. -Akikanju

@NigeriaStories THIS ISN'T A THREAT, IT'S A PROMISE If Jonathan contest the 2027 Presidential election, my duty is to lead the campaign to ensure that whatever credibility he's enjoying today is damaged completely internationally We'll bring out and interrogate the record of his administration

Anyone advocating “turn of the south” should be excited that Goodluck Jonathan has been adopted by PDP. Well, unless your south has a different ethnic meaning that excludes Ijaws, and obviously the ethnicity of the incumbent Tinubu in Govt.

Can you see how Yorubas are speaking up against the BS of Seyi Makinde? This is why the South west is the safest region in the country. Yorubas do not play politics with security of lives and properties in their region.
