@Bulldogs_96 @MattYoungCTV They are terrible. The only reason they made playoffs was because there were three teams worse than them. Those teams are on actual rebuilding years and will most likely be better than the Pats in the next 2 years.

@heffrod @MattYoungCTV It's not a garbage team, it's a rebuilding team that actually exceeded expectations. You're bang on with the price point issue though. If those tickets were $25 there'd be 4-5k fans in there tonight - regardless of how you feel about the team's skill.

@SeanStefan @BradJamieson Correct, no concession revenue and they’re automatically forced to add $8-15 in REAL fees, plus they’re Ticketmaster fees. Any type of concession promotions are subsidized by the Pats.

@BradJamieson The problem in Regina is that the Pats don’t share in concessions, so only way to monetize is with ticket sales and merch.

The rapid decline of attendance from 2019-2026 should be a case study in an Economics of Sport class. Elasticity does not seem to be a consideration of the supply/demand curve here. (A fancy way of saying people aren’t paying $56.58 each to to bring their kids to the games)
