In the early 1980's, when I was in school, sports nutrition did not yet exist as a class! I have had the most exciting career. Clearly, I have been in this not for recognition or validation & yet, boom! The Trailblazer Award brought both. It feels meaningful & I am grateful.

As an American immigrant who doesn’t take any of our freedoms for granted and who LOVES our country and works to constructively overcome any of our imperfections, I find these people to be so deluded. I try to be compassionate towards all human beings, but it’s hard for me to feel empathy towards ignorant people who shout ‘Death to America’ in 2024 America. And to be clear, they do Not represent any of my many friends from all religions, ethnicities and persuasions. In a social experiment, a couple friends and I went to a Pro-Palestine protest in NYC with just American flags. The protestors’ reactions were truly shocking. Two of our flags were lit on fire and one was stolen. They praised Osama Bin Laden and chanted “death to America” This is not just a fight for Israel. This is a fight for America!

What’s your go to breakfast? I’m either protein smoothie with banana and PB or frozen berries or an egg sandwich on bagel with pickled onion or cheese/spinach. If I’m doing a bigger workout I stick to oats, yogurt n berries with maple syrup!
