@bspinef That will greatly depend on where you currently live. UK appears to be the first country to unravel itself as an actual dystopia. As for jobs, you'll just have to look for a secondary publisher that you can truly trust to not ruin your prospects.

It seems that censorship and things like that are a global trend. Nothing much is happening right now, but if things start getting banned one by one, it'll be my turn next. Should I look for another job? 😂

@bspinef How is the state of this game? Is it still a WIP? Came across this on a random home feed.

Yeah, I guess I'll just upload some face renderings. Most of the artwork on my timeline, even the not-so-racy pieces, is blurred out.

@Victim_Girls @rakko666 Will there be someone who will succeed Rakko-sensei? His art style and story genre is hard to find even if I look hard for it.

@rakko666 Pls have someone succeed him. This is the last thing anyone would want, especially in this day and age. His artstyle, storywriting, chosen themes and genres are hard to find these days. #らっこ #助っ人参上

Why is the pike and shot era so cool? -The uniforms kick ass. Bright colours and big sashes and plumes. -It's a crossover between medieval and modern. Armoured lancers on the same battlefield as muskets and cannon. -Widest variety of unit types at the tactical level. Crossbows, pikes, mounted gunners, artillery, double-handed swordsmen, etc. Plus lots of cool formations. Tercio checkerboards, Dutch linear musketeers, caracole, Swiss pike phalanxes. -Multiple, simultaneous, world-changing developments; Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, discovery of the New World. -Larger than life characters: Columbus, Cortez, Henry VIII, Luther, Suleiman the Magnificent, Charles V. -The nations are cool. Golden age of Spain and the Dutch Republic. England emerges as a great power. France kicking ass all over the place. Ottomans at the height of their power, Europe terrified of them. Papal armies in the field. -It's not WW2. It's not WW1. It's not ancient. It's not medieval. It is it's own distinctive thing. And it's almost uncharted territory in gaming terms, relative to other time periods.

The duel in “The Deluge” (1974) is widely regarded as the most realistic swordfight ever put to screen because it strips away theatrical flourish and presents combat as it actually was: brutal, exhausting, and governed by physical reality rather than stylized choreography.

@ShitpostRock Admittedly, I was at first dumb enough to think he actually meant hanging out with UN diplomats 🤣🤣 However, even after he clarified that he meant a party with young women “under age 25”, I still chose working on rockets and cars.

GM Britain ☕ In 1696, England's currency was in crisis. Coin clippers were shaving silver off the edges of coins, melting it down, and spending the debased coins at full face value. Around 10% of the nation's currency was counterfeit. Riots broke out 🔥 Britain's solution? Put Sir Isaac Newton in charge of the Royal Mint 🪙 Not just gravity, you see. Newton recalled every coin in the country. Melted them all down. Reminted them with a reeded edge - ridges along the rim that made clipping instantly visible. Before Newton arrived, the Mint produced 15,000 coins a week. He had them turning out 50,000. Then he went undercover. Disguised himself. Visited taverns and dens. Built networks of informants. Prosecuted over 100 counterfeiters. At least two dozen were hanged at Tyburn. The man who gave us gravity also saved the British economy. That's British ingenuity. 🇬🇧

American Giant. One of the best to have ever done it. Be Andrew Jackson >Born 1767. Carolina backcountry. Edge of civilization. >Father dies before you’re born. >Mother raises you alone. Hard woman. >American Revolution breaks out. You’re a teenager. >Age 13. British soldiers capture you. >Officer orders you to clean his boots. >You refuse. >He slashes your face and hand with a sword. >Scars never fade. >Thrown into prison. >Contract smallpox. >Nearly die. >Released in a prisoner exchange. >Return home broken and fevered. >Shortly after, your mother dies of cholera. >She was nursing American prisoners of war. >You are 14. >Completely orphaned. >Frontier life hardens you. >Study law. No schools. No polish. >Become a lawyer. Then a judge. >Honor culture. >Duel repeatedly. >One duel goes wrong. >Shot in the chest. >Bullet lodges inches from your heart. >Doctors cannot remove it. >You carry it for life. >Rise in Tennessee politics. >Become a general. >New Orleans. >British Empire returns. >Veterans of Europe. Best army in the world. >You have militia. Riflemen. Pirates. Farmers. >They expect a massacre. >You annihilate them. >Victory so decisive it shocks the world. >Become a national hero overnight. >Enter presidential politics. >Win the popular vote. >Lose in Congress. >“Corrupt bargain.” >You do not forget. >Run again. >You win. >First true populist president. >Enemies immediately: elites, editors, bankers. >They call you dangerous. >You agree. >Then comes the real war. >The Second Bank of the United States. >Private. Politically connected. Foreign investors. >Controls credit. Controls elections. Controls survival. >They call it stability. >You call it tyranny. >Bank president Nicholas Biddle believes you can be managed. >Congress renews the Bank’s charter early, to force your hand. >You veto it. >Publicly. >“The rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their selfish purposes.” >The bankers panic. >They unleash newspapers. >Contract credit. >Trigger economic pressure to break you. >You escalate. >Remove federal deposits. >Shift them to state banks. >The central bank begins to suffocate. >The Bank collapses. >No central bank. >No financial sovereign above the people. >The bankers want you dead. >January 30, 1835. >Capitol steps. >Assassin approaches. >Pulls a pistol. >Click. >Misfire. >Second pistol. >Click. >Another misfire. >You don’t flee. >You attack him with your cane. >Beat him until restrained. >Courts declare the assassin insane. >You are not convinced. >Leave office having paid off the national debt. >Only president ever to do it. >Die 1845. >Age 78. Leaves behind: The destruction of the central bank. The precedent that finance answers to sovereignty. The expansion of executive power. A nation reminded that elites are never permanent. Proof that an orphan from the American frontier can defy empires.

Two alien disclosure scenarios: 1 - Alien life announced. Chaos. Markets crash. Shelves empty. Society melts down overnight. 2 - Alien life announced. No impact on daily life. People shrug, meme it, and still go to work the next morning. Which one sounds more likely?

Apparently the UK game had the far right girl referencing the reze movie. Yeah, this isn't fanart. How did they mess up this badly?
