I’ll be honest y’all, I have no idea what I’m doing, what I’m supposed to do, how I’m supposed to feel, what I’m supposed to think. My whole world feels different and I know it forever will. Right now, I just want to help my mom however I can. All I’ve ever known is the power of community. The same community my dad admired and was part of. He was the most kind, generous soul. He grew up poor with nothing, yet I learned from him the importance of paying it forward, tipping anyone and everyone wherever a service was offered, even if it wasn’t a traditional tipping one. I’m grateful for the person my parents raised me to be and the support they’ve always shown me. But this time, I’d like to help. My mom has never asked for help, ever. She deserves it. okay. so im sure im super late to the party on this one, but i have been very open on here with something extremely similar that happened to me previously in 2020, after contenders trials concluded, and after me and my team won 2 (WON!! TWO!!) tournaments together, after scrimming t2 for months and months and months (and doing VERY well- like rolling most teams in our meta) i never got a singular TRIAL after the season!!! not ONE team (who needed a flex support) even wanted to SEE me play- at one point a manager booked me, and then had to come back and tell me later that no, his players actually 'weren't interested' ??? sure, chalk it up to a skill issue, but not even getting a CHANCE to prove ourselves is what is SO infuriating
