🚨 You’re Already Living in the Past
Every moment you see is already in the
past. Your eyes send signals to the brain,
but it takes time, tiny, invisible fractions of a second. To make the world feel seamless, your brain predicts what’s coming next, filling in the gaps so motion looks smooth and real-time.
What you experience as the present is actually a clever reconstruction, a story your brain tells to keep reality in line despite its own delays. Every blink, every movement, every second is already gone before you even notice.
@JackWei007@TheresaMer19530@teslaownersSV Many take this analog easily. If advaced technology prevail over anything, why 80% bank still use core mainframe computing their mortgage amortization ,loan with a simple mathematics from primary school , these formula 100 years long. But capital don't want replace them.
We need data centers in space
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt:
“We’re running out of electricity. I testified in congress we need 92 gigawatts more power, the average nuclear power plant is 1.5 gigawatts, you see the problem”
@milan_milanovic AI still in experimental developing , "they" are getting training data. It's easy to induce from your typing (the way of human thinking) than mouse moving, which generate lot of noises.
@milan_milanovic They just want you sticky to computer, and other tech even blockchain tagging everyone's footprint at net. That's a step further than cookies. Technology giants so far have tools to track human, not for solving problem for human world. Ask them to have moon landing done with AI
Am I the only one who doesn't like coding in the terminal?
Claude Code is a great tool, but the user experience for coding is not the best
I was always the IDE-first person
I like to code in a systematic way, with proper tool support
Terminal is just not the best way to do it
Just my 2c
@PovilasKorop They ( the AI or the algorithm) are "leaning" human behavior, the more you use it, they are more training data. The result given back to you , is a ignition as you watch special media/short video , Ticktok.
With all AI hype, I still don't understand how people run multiple Claude Code agents/terminals.
Ok, I understand how it's possible technically.
But how do you REVIEW all of that?
I don't have enough brain capacity for such multi-context-switching.
Or am I just too old? :)
@TheGeorgePu Since assumption leveraged ( if true as many claimed), software building cost ( a lager portion cost in today product line) , why these cuts didn't brought obvious low price level of consumption goods. Indeed all price jump higher.
Two years ago, building what I'm building now would've taken a team of 5 and $200K.
Last week I shipped the same thing in 3 days with Claude.
The leverage changed. Most people's assumptions didn't update.
I genuinely don't remember exactly what LLM/AI tool was released in May but something clearly affected the behaviors of many technical people.
@willccbb do you remember?
claude code is fucking insane
i know literally NOTHING about coding. ZERO. and i just built a fully functioning web app in minutes

@rough__sea This has been said never before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of talking to humans is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as social and outgoing, but no less true. Talking will be done by AI agents.
This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.
It's not perfect and I'm iterating on it but this is where we are right now. If you are skeptical of coding agents, try it on a domain you are already an expert of. Build something complex from scratch where you can be the judge of the artifacts.
I'm not joking and this isn't funny. We have been trying to build distributed agent orchestrators at Google since last year. There are various options, not everyone is aligned... I gave Claude Code a description of the problem, it generated what we built last year in an hour.
@Forbes Summary from these comments, trust has been lost in human world in era of AI, AI turning to be mystery of word/would. There is none exists like AI, not a specific physics, only a fiction. Physical Fact, Moon-landing is not realized , even with such intelligence called AI, fraud..
At age 29, Luana Lopes Lara has just become the youngest self-made woman billionaire on Earth, unseating 31-year-old Scale AI cofounder Lucy Guo who took the title from Taylor Swift in April.
She and her cofounder, Tarek Mansour, also 29, both moved into the three comma club after their prediction market firm raised $1 billion at an $11 billion valuation.
Crypto-focused venture capital firm Paradigm led the round, announced Tuesday, which also included investors Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Y Combinator among others. Read more: forbes.com/sites/aliciapa…
